Congratulations to all of our friends @llbean on the completion of the Flagship store renovation. We’re joining the long line of proud Mainers excited to check out your new digs! Ever the masters of inspiration to “get outside”—you’ve somehow managed to even tweak the weather forecast for your Grand Opening weekend to feel perfectly Fall-like!

We will have our little donut truck tucked in neatly next to the LLB Bike & Boat shop along with other food truck friends this weekend: Fri and Sun (9/18, 9/20) and then several more times over the next month to sweeten the celebration even more.

Swimming in a sea of donuts is a pretty sweet image and how we may be feeling at some point this 3rd weekend of September. Hey-event planners, caterers, photographers, florists, musicians et al….is this Saturday always your biggest wedding day too? Wowza!! When not celebrating ❤️ we hope to see you at LLBean for their grand reopening weekend (we’ll be set up next to the Bike & Boat shop). Sincere apologies for missing a week or two of our schedule drop—it’s September and we’re in the thick of wedding season with the little donut truck, orders out of the Federal St shop and even several wedding events out of our shop at Sugarloaf. More of the same style this week but sprinkling in live music with @statetheatreportland concerts @thompsonspoint and @brass.roots.fest (where you will also see @minibarcoffeeportland !!) at BugLight Park. Local art more your thing? Make the trek to @maineartsfest

It’s that time of summer when a well-choreographed tango begins to feel a little bit more like dodge, dip, duck and dive. We say goodbye to our college-aged crew/glue and transition to fewer days in the Eastern Prom lot and even more weddings and special events.

Here’s where you will find us this week:
✨THU (8/20) Fed shop 8-4, Eastern Prom lot 11-3 and then we slide over to the top of the EP for the @friendsofeasternprom concert at Fort Allen 6pm-9(ish)
✨FRI (8/21) Fed shop 8-4, Eastern Prom lot 11-8, @freeportfarmersmarketmaine 10-1, Sunset @thompsonspoint 5-sunset.

Come for the cause. Stay for the donuts. Or vice versa.

Honestly, no matter what brings you to the @crossforlifeflight Family Fun 5K next Saturday, August 15th at Back Cove Trail in Portland - you will NOT regret it.

First of all - we get to eat @eighty8donuts — so there’s that. Plus, @your.caricature will be there - Melita is SO talented.

But most importantly, this is a fundraiser for @lifeflightmaine

Since 1998, this nonprofit hasn’t only been changing lives - they’ve been SAVING lives through their medical transport and critical care.

This 5K is a no pressure, FUN way to come together and participate in their BIGGEST FUNDRAISER of the year. Plus, you can run/walk/jog alongside the crews! So cool.

If you can’t make it — we’re ALL invited to take part in the Cross for LifeFlight — this is a month-long challenge where you can sign up and raise money by “crossing” the state of Maine with your favorite activity - running, walking, hiking, swimming- etc!

Strictly? Simply! A few strong options for hot and fresh donuts this week. You’ll find us most days on the Eastern Prom and any day at our Federal Street shop. We’ll be visiting our friends @thompsonspoint Thursday and then @rangeleyhealthandwellness for their annual fundraiser. But, hey, August starts this weekend so we will we will then have what seems like a month’s worth of events packed into each week. So, for right now, we relax and savor the summer!

Sunday (7/19) we’re so excited to be joining @hearts_sc and many of our food truck friends on Fox St for Footy Fest at the Kennedy Park fields.

If you’ve been paying attention to our page over the years then you’ve figured out our most favorite things include getting outside, eating donuts, anything that supports and encourages kids, seeing a baby stuff donuts and dogs. No pups allowed on this day but we have everything else on our Bingo card!

You’ll also find us at the World Cup Watch Party @thompsonspoint later that day. So, we’re just gonna start calling it Futbol Sunday from now on⚽️
