Today would have been my mom’s 89th birthday. This was our last celebration six years ago with her. Little did we know she would miss her 84th birthday by just five days. I miss her so much! I am so happy I have these memories to remind me how blessed I was to have her as my mom. Happy (heavenly) Birthday!

Happy Anniversary to my parents and what would have been their 54th Anniversary. So grateful for these two and the love they shared. They had (almost) 49 years together. It’s been five years. Five years of you not being at the holidays, birthdays, and special moments I used to call you to tell you the first about. I miss you everyday. I miss your calls, your advice and your beautiful smile. I know you are in a much better place. I thank God you aren’t witnessing what our country is going through right now. How many of you shop at our local @carddea in the Riveriara Village? 🙋🏻‍♀️ How many of you have found the perfect card, gift, sweatshirt, hat, or decoration? 🙋🏻‍♀️ I know many of you have! And… I know in my heart of hearts you would hate to see this special, iconic store close. Please join me in supporting Kimberly Panter Judy and Lilah Volpe-Emerson. We went to Chicago to celebrate Connor’s graduation! Joe and I got to finally show Connor where we lived when we first got married almost 28 years ago! We went to University of Chicago where Joe got his PhD, Ghirardelli’s for ice cream, shopping on Michigan Avenue, Cindy’s Rooftop Bar, The Drake Hotel for martinis, Gibsons Steakhouse, The Original Pancake House, Northwestern Law School, the Architecture Tour, Boka, Second City, took the train to our very first apartment, Wrigley Field, bars around Wrigley, Ginos East, and Bub City for drinks and dancing! It was a whirlwind! And, loved every minute! (We did miss sweet Tucker! He is loving his new CUBS toy!) taken in Chicago, Illinois by @eileenkrock
