The Morning Lucien. I can feel the heat is summer lessening its grip - and this morning was perfect to start hiking again after a long, hot, few months. I’m so proud of Lucien’s’ behavior on the trail: for how he acts around other hikers and dogs, and for how responsive he is to both verbal and leash cues. Sound up for the mournful diatribe about the unfairness of having to stay in place after a wet morning romp. Never mind the yak chew, or the bully stick or the “bone-i-fied” bone he got. Never mind the fun, the activity, the training session. Nope, he’s miserable and may I add VERY poorly treated overall.
