First 5K race complete 🥹🏃‍♀️✨

If you’d told me at Christmas last year, that by July I’d have taken up running, and doing my first ever race - I would have laughed in your face, said shut your mouth don’t be silly.

But safe to say, I’ve officially got the running bug and completed my first race at MediaCity with @runthroughuk . I never thought running was ‘for me’ or something I’d enjoy - but after watching my best friends run, train, and raise money doing 10k’s and half marathon’s, I felt so inspired so decided to give it a go.

I started couch to 5k in February, where at the time I couldn’t run for longer than a minute - and yesterday I completed the race with a chip time of 30:12, making it my faster 5K yet. (Okay PB alert!!!)

I am so grateful to my friends, family, my gorgeous friends at the event cheering me on all the way, and everyone’s supportive messages. I’ve never done anything like this before, and I feel overwhelmed with love and gratitude.

If you’re unsure on running, but something in you maybe wants to try it, I couldn’t encourage you more. The feeling after completing a run is like no other and you actually feel unstoppable - so if I were you, go get it bitch.
