✨️Obligatory birthday selfie(s)💜
In another universe I was the Fae Queen Illythiana, who was a wielder of lilac flames and basked in moonlight rays. Beloved by my people, I often enjoyed throwing night parties in the royal gardens for them filled with music and dance. Furthermore, a fierce defender of my castle, protector of my kingdom and its inhabitants; all who dared threaten harm were met with female rage and bodies set aflame!

Can you tell I love consuming fantasy in all formats?🧝🏻‍♀️ I spent the last week taking photos and editing myself into a fantasy world, like a normal person😌 I've found in recent years that's how I enjoy the days leading up to my birthday. Thank you to my husband and little sister for their feedback and help🩷 Tell me which photo is your favorite and which magical creature you'd love to be if fantasy were our reality✨️ by @ejademax

🪦You know that Dunwich was built on the ruins of the original Salem, the village of witches and heresy and evil!🧟‍♀️

Day 6: One of Fulci's most well-known and masterworks, City of the Living Dead! I was fortunate enough last year to win a bidding on ebay of rare tapes. One of them being an Italian 1990 tape of COTLD! It runs beautifully and is in great shape. One of the holy grails of my Fulci collection🧟‍♀️

🥀I have crossed oceans of time to find you⚰️

Rewatched Bram Stokers Dracula today, this movie holds up so well. The sets, the effects, costumes, and soundtrack are all perfect. I hadn't seen it in a year or two, and since I just rewatched the first seven Saw films, when Arthur walked onto the screen I was like, "Hey! It's Dr. Gordon!" I love the cast too, all give memorable performances (I have a handful of complaints, but it's mostly perfect.)

When compared to the book I have to say, even though I love the romance story they created for the movie, I still feel like they did Mina's character a little dirty. Considering that in the book she's rather intelligent, resilient, helps investigate and fight against Dracula, who in turn goes after her for revenge and not because she's the reincarnation of his lost love. However, the way Gary Oldman portrayed this version of the character is beautifully tragic. I love both, however I do feel somewhat robbed of Renfield's final scene in the movie.

Next slides are from my vampire inspired cosplay a couple years back, these two photos/edits were inspired by this movie❤️‍🔥 by @ejademax

It's always a perfect time to spin Mercyful or King, but the music hits especially this time of year. Don't Break the Oath and Conspiracy are original vinyl pressings🥰 What's your favorite song/album by Mercyful Fate/King Diamond?💜

P.S. My first concert was King Diamond opening for Slayer❤️‍🔥 by @ejademax

🪚Game Over📼

Rewatched the first seven Saw movies this month, these really hold up until today. The story may turn ridiculous, but it does click together and make somewhat sense. It's crazy that these installments never really pass a ten million dollar budget and yet the traps and special effects are always of great quality. I also love the differences between Jigsaw and Hoffman, whom the latter is definitely more evil and morally corrupt. What's your favorite Saw movie or trap?🪚

My Saw order from favorite to least⬇️
📼Saw 3
🪚Saw (04')
📼Saw 4
🪚Saw 7 (3d)
📼Saw 6
🪚Saw 2
📼Saw (03')

🏰The razor edge of destiny. That's the condition of man. Bound on an island from which he can never hope to escape, surrounded by the waiting pit of hell. Subject to the inexorable pendulum of fate, which must destroy him finally.🪚

What is your favorite Vincent Price horror movie?

I was properly introduced to Vincent Price a few years ago, and I adore his approach to acting and he himself. A voice so gentle and yet can be used for the most menacing characters. He could embody innocence, and at the drop of a hat become the most evil specimen on the screen. His charisma is some of the most unmatched onscreen and off, and he always gave his best to his work. My favorite film of his thus far is The Pit and the Pendulum. by @ejademax

Our Evil Dead collection👁 For me the franchise stops at the 2013 reboot, didn't like what followed. I adore the original trilogy and the show is plain badass. Army of Darkness was the first comedy horror I ever saw, and although it didn't click with me at first, later it would go on to steal my heart. Ash Williams forever a top favorite anti-hero❤️‍🔥

📖Woe be unto him who opens one of the seven gateways to Hell, because through that gateway, evil will invade the world🔥

Repost from #fulcilivesfilmweek

I am so MAD that a remake has been announced for Lucio Fulci's The Beyond. This is one of my favorite horror movies, and I can not fathom anyone doing this bleak atmospheric masterpiece any justice. From the gore to the eerieness to the zombies and the overall story, there is no bettering ANY of it. Not only that, but a Gates of Hell universe was hinted at??? WHAT! There are so many other movies that can be remade or here's a suggestion...come up with original ideas!🤯

Fulci needs no remake! FULCI LIVES!❤️‍🔥 by @ejademax

🧟‍♀️"You turned me into a fckin'
n💀cro junkie!"

Recent watches: I hadn't seen Rob Zombie's Halloween in over a decade, he sure knows how to pick a soundtrack for his movies🔥 I know a lot don't like the fact that he gave a backstory for Michael, but personally I do as it gives more to the character.
Bone Sickness was a first time watch and as always the effects were insane and there was some nasty stuff as well that made me squirm🪱🪳🪱 The goblins were a surprise, and I loved their designs!👹

Are you a fan of either of these?💜 by @ejademax
