Romeo & Juliet has had a special place in my heart since i was a freshman in high school, and getting to be Lord Capulet for my last show at Montevallo meant so much more than i could ever properly express. while i found myself being challenged like never before in this role, i always knew it would change me for the better as not only an artist, but a person. this cast and crew were filled with the kindest and most talented people, i am so grateful i got the opportunity to work with everyone. i miss this show with every piece of me, but not as much as i miss those pants. i really liked those pants.

in just a few short hours, i will be graduating from the University of Montevallo with a B.S. in Theatre. Montevallo has been my home for the last five years, and i am so grateful for every opportunity i’ve had while being a student here. i couldn’t have done this without my family, friends, my wonderful professors, and God’s steady guidance. while i’m so sad my time here has came to an end, i am so excited for what comes next! thank you to everyone who has poured into me over the years. i finally know where i belong. FALC ‘EM UP BABY!💛💜

“Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow.”

there aren’t enough words to express how much this show has meant to me. i have loved this play since i read it when i was 15, and always dreamed that one day i would get to be a part of this timeless story. i never imagined that it would get to be my last show at my favorite place, with the best cast/crew imaginable. not only did i get to spend more time with people i already loved, but i got to build new relationships that i know will last a lifetime. whenever i felt down about myself and my ability, these people were always there to pick me back up, and i could not be more grateful. i could not have asked for a more amazing final role at montevallo, and i will miss this show until i’m old and gray. thank you to everyone involved with this production, thank you for giving me something so hard to say goodbye too ❤️ by @ejbostick
