What colour makes you feel your best?

We’re told every season which colours are “in”, but I’ve never believed that should dictate what we wear.

For my September column in @yorkshire_living, I’m talking about Colour with Confidence and why finding the colours that light you up is far more important than simply following fashion.

Some women come alive in cobalt blue. Others look fabulous in mustard, hot pink or soft ivory. And once you know the colours that make you feel good, you can start having fun with them.

I also talk about something I love doing as a designer: putting colours together that you might not immediately think of. Olive green with claret. Mustard with plum. Soft ivory with chocolate brown. Sometimes the unexpected combinations are the most beautiful.

Pictured is Emma wearing my olive Linen Shirt and trousers with the Waterfall Tweed Coat. I love the contrast of the olive against those rich claret tones.

There are days when I want to play with separates, colours and layers.

And then there are days when I want one piece to do absolutely everything.

That’s why I designed the Jumpsuit.

A strong, clean shape through the body. Wide legs that move beautifully…and pockets, obviously 😍

It’s so easy to wear… sleeveless with flats, chilling in the summer sun. Layer a shirt underneath when you want a little more coverage. Add a sharp tailored jacket and suddenly it’s perfect for a business meeting 💛

One piece. So many looks.

Infuselle has its first magazine feature!!!! 🤍🥰🥹

It’s a little bit surreal seeing all your hard work & effort come to life and hold it in your hands 🥲

From the hours of late night admin, to endless endless research - it makes every single second of joy (and despair!) completely and utterly worth it 🤍

It’s not for the faint hearted being a little one person business out in this great big ocean, but when you have the passion that I have for Infuselle, and its ability to help people, I know it’s going to continue to blossom 🌸

This seems a good moment to also say THANKYOU! to the friends and family that have been by my side for the journey so far, and put up with my never ending obsession with all things wellness and ramblings on how I can offer the best service for my clients.
