Shreveport, Louisiana… WE DID IT AGAIN! 🙌🏾

On this Resurrection Sunday, our city is celebrating more HISTORY in the national gospel music industry!

First, God allowed @keyondralockett to blaze the trail as the gospel artist from Shreveport to reach #1 in the country five years ago…

And now, EJ Fields has made history as the first male gospel artist from Shreveport, LA to reach #1 on the nation’s top gospel charts with “Mercy Endureth!” 🏆

This is bigger than music—this is purpose, perseverance, and favor on full display!

From the city to the nation… Shreveport is producing greatness in gospel music!

SHREVEPORT STAND UP!!! 🔥🔥🔥
#1 in the country!!!

Shreveport, we’re witnessing history in real time!

I had the honor of talking to our very own EJ Fields — a rising national gospel voice making major waves across the country. From his journey to this moment, to what it means to carry the sound of Shreveport on a national stage… this conversation is powerful.

This isn’t just another interview… this is a city’s legacy in motion.

Press play!

I’ve loved this song from the moment I first heard it as little boy and I can be transparent by saying in a world such as this one I have to decide to make Jesus my choice everyday! It may not be easy but it’s definitely worth it. I’m so glad God didn’t give up on me through all of my inconsistencies and failures. His grace truly is sufficient and I’m living it today.

If all you can do today is pray, that’s not weakness—it’s wisdom. God hears every whispered prayer and sees every silent tear. 🙏🏾

As you start your day I just want to remind you through the highs, the lows, the hurt, and the uncertainty. People change, seasons change, but He never does. When everything else shifts, He remains the same. Hang on in there! Jesus has your back. #ejf #videos #strength #encouragement #ᴊᴇsᴜsɪsʟᴏʀᴅ by @ejfieldsjr

A special thank you to our friends in television — Channel 12, Channel 3, and Channel 6 — for partnering with us to help host and spotlight the LKG (Lewis Kortez Group) artists right here in Shreveport!

We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase phenomenal gospel artists like EJ Fields, Jor’Dan Armstrong, and Nia Allen and to share their music, ministry, and impact with our entire community through television.

Thank you for helping us continue to elevate gospel music and bring positive, inspiring content to the Ark-La-Tex region! by @ejfieldsjr
