22nd September will always hold a special place in my heart because I remember how happy you were 8 years ago when i birthed my baby. You came to the hospital and spent the whole day with us, sharing in that beautiful moment and making the day even more special.

Sometimes I look at you and wonder how I got so blessed to have you. Watching you grow into this beautiful, bold, inquisitive and loving little girl fills my heart with so much joy. You have such a sweet spirit, and the way you love and care for people, especially your love for feeding everyone who comes around with your fav signature noodles nd eggs that you love to cook is something I pray you never lose.

My sweet baby, my prayer is that God will always go before you. May He protect you, guide your steps, give you wisdom beyond your years, and surround you with people who will love and cherish you. Today, I celebrate you, not just for the wonderful man you are, but for the beautiful memories we share and the special place you will always have in my heart.

From our morning devotion songs to your insistence that we speak only bachama in the house 😂, there are so many memories that still make me smile. Looking back, I appreciate how those little things helped shape me, even in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time.

You have always been a man of prayer, a father, a pastor, and someone the entire family can run to whenever we need prayers . There is something so comforting about knowing that “Daddy Yola” as we popularly call you in the family☺️ has prayed for us. Your faith, your love, and your presence have meant so much to us all.

As you turn 70 today, my prayer is that God will bless you with many more beautiful years in good health, peace, joy, and strength. May the same God you have faithfully served all these years continue to uphold you, answer your prayers, and surround you with His love.

This birthday is extra special because it’s your first birthday as a mother! Watching you step into motherhood and seeing the beautiful mother you’ve become makes me so proud of you.

The beauty of intermarriage is in the coming together of two different cultures, traditions, languages and ways of life to create something beautiful.

My mum is a Bwatiye woman married to an Urhobo man, and growing up with both sides has made me appreciate the beauty of having more than one cultural identity. You get to experience different traditions, different foods, different ways of doing things, and somehow, they all become a part of you.

It reminds me that love doesn’t always have to come from the same background. Sometimes, the beauty is in the differences and in learning to embrace them.

To the man our children are blessed to call Dad and the man I’m blessed to call mine🤗

Happy Father’s Day, my hunk❤️

Long before our children will understand the weight of your sacrifices, I already do. I see the silent prayers you pray for this family, the battles you fight without announcing them, the dreams you’ve put on hold so theirs can come alive, and the love you pour into us every single day.

Our children will grow up and realize that their first superhero never wore a cape. He wore responsibilities. He wore resilience. He wore unconditional love. He wore your name🫡

Thank you for being the safe place our children run to, the steady hands that catch them when they fall, the voice that teaches them courage, and the heart that reminds them what love looks like.❤️❤️
