Standout collegiate track & field athlete for the NJIT Highlanders, specializing in the 400-meter hurdles. As a freshman, he made program history by becoming NJIT's first America East Conference champion in the men's 400-meter hurdles and only the third Highlander ever to qualify for the NCAA Division I East First Round in the event. A native of Plainfield, New Jersey, Brown has quickly emerged as one of NJIT's top track & field performers, earning recognition for his speed, discipline, and record-setting accomplishments.

History Was Made. But there’s more to the story…

Honestly I’m a confident athlete and have always been one but sometimes I forget I to am human. Everything I do should be for God and myself and not to please nobody else. I’ve been through injury, physical battles, mental battles, family, and personal life’s issues that come with being a collegiate student athlete. I have lots of growth to do as a Christian ,student, and athlete and I’m not afraid or ashamed to admit this. I’m not perfect nor I’ll never be perfect but I can keep working to become the most absolute best version of myself. There’s this standard I’ve consistently held myself at… only difference now is being more patient with myself as well. Thank you to everyone who’s believed in me since the beginning as well as those who’ve stuck around and supported me through the thick and thin!
