First alpine climb! Spent the weekend out in the bugaboos with @samn_orman and went for the summit of pigeon spire. We had to turn around in the final stretch due to bad weather, but it was an amazing experience in an incredible place. Glad to have had a guide on this one with lots of heavily crevassed glacier travel and thick fog that made route finding tough at times. Solid trip to Costa Rica & Guatemala with the bro! @a_thor2

We learned a few things:
1. Sloth locations are on google maps
2. You actually can pick up poison dart frogs
3. Google maps blows occasionally
4. Guides are for losers
5. High school Spanish is not useful
6. Everything is cash only bro
7. Tuesday’s are not lit in Nosara
8. Active volcanoes & lightning look dangerous, but are are actually friendly
9. Do not eat wild guavas with worms but you’ll be ok if u do

Just realized I never posted the northern lights on my main account! I went back through my camera roll and found a few pics I skipped over the first time.

The amount of luck in this photo is insane. We happened to get clear skies which was rare, we happened to get the first strong aurora of the year, and we happened to backpack out to one of the most epic spots I’ve ever seen.

So much gratitude for this trip and people I got to share it with. Also gratitude for remembering my SD card and camera battery… 📸 taken in Lofoten Islands by @ejthorson
