Rededicating my life to Christ is the best decision I’ve made.

For the last few months I have had this heavy feeling on my heart. And have felt like I was at my all time low, Going down to the altar all feeling like I’ve left it all there, but getting back up and taking it all with me, my leader Brittany has been down with me every time, knowing that I needed to re give my life to Christ but she gave me my time to realize it and figure it out in my own. Tonight at church, I could feel the Lord speaking to me, saying just come to me completely and lay it all down. And I went down to the altar and Tracey was with me tonight and asked me if there was anything specific she needed to pray for and I said “just me” and she said do you think it’s you getting saved, and that’s when I knew it was time, to just stop fighting the Lord. And I finally listened, I gave it all to him. I’ve grown up in church all my life and got saved when I was younger and baptized a few years ago. And for a while I’ve felt I needed to rededicate my life to Christ, but I was scared of what people would think since I grew up in church all my life, but tonight that wasn’t a bother to me because I knew that I needed to be all in for the Lord and that I had to make the decision on my own, it was no one else’s decision to make. God will come to you when you need him most and he will always deliver. And God’s Truth, power over you is always bigger than your past. The biggest miracle God can preform in your life is forgiving you, no matter if you fall short, or if you fall back in your faith and step back from him, he will always be right by your side and will stay true to you, and will always forgive you. And that you don’t have to fight silent battles alone. I finally realized tonight that I have to let go and let him do it all. Just remember God will always love you and be by your side through it all. by @ekgriggs
