From radio interviews to a palace invite - the start of the year has been eventful to say the least.

I wanted to start this month off by sharing my thoughts and some of our recent highlights.

Like every year, we get the ball rolling with a number of meetings to form new relationships. Whether it's an art gallery or a critically-acclaimed restaurant, we always approach the meetings as an opportunity to hear more about the business we're visiting and understand how Eko can support them in delivering on their business goals. This year, we started off by collaborating with interesting brands, authors and we were invited to speak about our journey in building Eko.

We always look to engage with anything that is about building communities, both local and beyond. This has helped us start out strong in previous years. We hope to continue this trend and keep creating lasting partnerships for the remainder of 2026!

1. BBC Radio London - a discussion with @jaxxsheps revisiting how it all started, our achievements and what we have in store for the future

2. Visit to St James Palace - Invite from the King to celebrate business founders from the Nigerian diaspora

3. Visit to Parliament - Invited to Parliament for an event hosted by First Bank as part of President Tinubu's state visit
