Who knew a little twist on soda/pop could make such a difference? Dirty soda/pop is creamy, fizzy, and refreshing all at once. It tastes like it shouldn’t work, but somehow it’s perfect. Once you try dirty soda/pop, plain soda/pop tastes like water.

@oldnassau.food has been on my bucket list since THE @keith_lee125 reviewed it and I’m so glad I finally got to experience it for myself! It felt less like dining out and more like stepping into someone’s kitchen. Everything is made to order, fresh and seasoned to perfection. You can tell the hand behind it knows exactly what it’s doing.

Taste of Edmonton is happening until July 28 if you’re still looking to go! We bought 40 tickets for $69.50, which we felt was more than enough for us to share. We also purchased a Freshly Squeezed Lemonade, 24oz for 4 tickets and a Dasani Water for 2 tickets. We enjoyed everything we got for the most part, some more than others.

This is one of my favourite snacks lately to have during movie nights at home. All you have to do is pop some popcorn then melt some butter and marshmallows in a pan. Add in cinnamon and vanilla into your butter and marshmallow mixture. Toss in your popcorn and add in a few marshmallows on top once you’ve plated your popcorn. It’s so good!🍿🤤

📍Ayco Cafe

@aycocafe is a family owned cafe on Jasper Avenue. They specialize in a variety of artisan pastries including their very trendy croissants. They also have a breakfast and lunch menu with an assortment of sandwiches and soups.

We tried their crookies (croissant + cookie), danishes, donuts, supreme, flat and cube croissants. I really enjoyed their cruffins, which is a blend between a croissant and a muffin. If you wanted to just grab a drink, they offer a variety of hot and cold drinks — coffees, lattes and sodas.
