Okay, it’s time to walk my talk.
Like how I believe we gotta detox the body , the mind , our homes and our relationships. I am gonna detox my mind and eyes from social media, especially that I see how scrolling on social media has been affecting me. Contrary to what I know is good , the very first thing I do every morning is… grab my phone to check my instagram. Then, I feel left thinking about politics and people’s lives.

So I am gonna get a little detox.
I will come back in one week and let you know how it goes. Will it really increase my focus, raise my consciousness and my joy ? :)

This month of Libra corresponds with our celestial and the terrestrial queen, Auset (Isis).

Auset is our divine mother, queen and high priestess. As you travel through the temples of Egypt you will find Auset almost everywhere, giving blessings to kings, queens and other Neter.

Her celestial symbol is the star Sirius and her terrestrial symbol is the throne, the earth power symbol. She comes from Sirius and walked earth in the land of Kemet to bring knowledge, wisdom, healing and magic. Her magic and powers rule over heaven and earth.

Auset has two brothers, Seth (chaos) and Ausar (Death and rebirth). Seth got jealous of Auset’s love for Ausar and decided to kill him. After Auset lost her partner, she traveled all around Egypt looking for his body parts. She used all her power to bring back Ausar. To unite herself to him, she produced light with her feathers, air with the beating of her wings and words of power (that she learned from Djehuti). The power of her wings is an empowering tool for us. It also highlights the power of our words, we create as we speak.

Auset is essential for every age, but especially for our age. As we are learning and reviving the powers of the divine feminine, there is no masterful teacher than her. She teaches us beauty, sovereignty, feminine power, devotion, high magic, and how to sit on our throne. She brings magical solutions to life circumstances.

Tomorrow, a nine-day temple opens.

For nine mornings, we will gather in devotion to Auset, the Mother of Mysteries, Lady of the Throne and Great of Magic, and enter a living arc of prayer, rite and remembrance.

The waters that purify. The throne that restores rightful order. The grief that searches for what has been scattered. The sacred word that transforms. The devotion that gathers life again. The Mother who protects what is becoming. The wings that create sanctuary. The wisdom that sees beyond appearances. The return to the Living Throne.

Each day, a new Door will open. Through prayer, ceremony, contemplation and devotional practice, we will move through purification, sovereignty, grief, sacred speech, restoration, divine motherhood, protection, discernment and embodiment.

Auset is at the heart of my devotional life. Her teachings have profoundly shaped my path and my relationship to the Sacred Feminine. I am deeply honored to be part of this nine-day temple alongside other teachers, practitioners and wisdom carriers, each holding a Door.

This is a journey of gathering what has been scattered, returning to what is sacred, and remembering the throne within.

Welcome to the season of Virgo, the season of father earth, Geb- “The Divine Goose.”

Geb is the father of Egypt. Geb is the densest expression of primordial energy, he is our Earth. In Geb’s body, the substance of the earth and the transmutation of elements takes place, beginning with the black earth and ending with the appearance of the philosopher’s stone.

The story of earth creation goes as follows- in the form of a goose, Geb rises to chaos and on its primeval hill lays an egg giving birth to the sun, the power of Ra, and thus the Sirian energy was born. Then he moves down from Nut’s (the goddess of sky) embrace, Geb becomes the Earth sphere.

Principle: Creation. As one of the fabricators of human form, he may be called upon to heal physical infirmities and correct defects, especially for the young. And if there are divisions in the family, his intercession can bring agreement to all sides. Being the wise arbitrator in the family dispute between Heru and Set, he is patron of judges and mediators. Building projects and business plans may go forward under his influence, with all sides being fairly compensated.

Function: Vegetation. Geb is primarily a Neter of the harvest, and ensures a continual supply for the home and business. His influence also allows the artisan to become prolific and successful.

Geb is the soil, our connection to our ancestors, the body through which we create alchemy and transformation. It is the nourishment we need and the guardian we call upon. It speaks to us through actions, weather, climate changes, and the materialization of things.

It is our role to trust in him and in his wisdom. The wisdom of our earth with all its changes. He is the guardian of our birthright. So he is to call upon when we or others feel violated. To find balance, grace, harmony and peace.

I always had a complicated relationship with food.

I dont like food. I think it is my enemy.

I used to binge eat a lot. Every heartbreak was replaced with lots of milk chocolate and caramel ice cream. Until I reached an age, where I cant afford being fat.

I can’t be fat and single. Too much on the nose.

So I stopped for the most part my emotional eating. I replaced it with fasting, juicing, eating really clean and controlling my food intake. My day starts at 6am with a glass of water, bone broth, meditation and a workout. “You are so disciplined,” my friends say.

It became really embarrassing to go out on a dinner date because I have to communicate a list of food restrictions that exceeds 10 items. By the time I list them, the guy is already disengaged.

I thought I am doing great, after all, I am healthy, I look good and I have this food binging under control. Which are all things I am very grateful for.

But my body is still screaming through bloating, hormonal fluctuations and tension. I get concerned about going to bed late or eating gluten or traveling outside my controlled environment. so something is still off.

As we entered Virgo season; which in the calendar I teach from belongs to Geb, the neter of earth, matter and the body. I started to investigate my relationship to matter.

During a series of meditations, prayers and journaling over the last two weeks, I had an aha moment. I was fasting. When I fast, I consider it a day of listening. And I have this habit of picking a book from my library intuitively. I picked a red book by the Jungian analyst Marion Woodman under the title “ Addiction to Perfection, The Still Unravished Bride.” I had this book for thirteen years, it was one of the rare books I took with me throughout all my moves over 13 years. I am of course the unravished bride.

I started reading “food embodies the false values that their bodies refuse to assimilate, by which i mean that their bodies become endemic, bloated, allergic, or resort to vomiting the poison out. The unconscious body, and certainly the conscious body, will not tolerate the negative mother.”

We are at a time of great change. And times of change require listening, alignment and ritual. The work you do, you don’t only do for yourself, you do it for your family, community and humanity. It has that power it ripples out.

This month, we will meet after the Eclipse portal because Egyptian did not do rituals on eclipses. We will gather to celebrate Virgo season. Which corresponds with Father Earth (in ancient Egypt) , Geb.

We will be working with the themes of inheritance, your body, creation and gratitude.
