#singingsunday is finally dipping into my wonderful time in Savannah @atc_savannah in January. I am so so grateful for this musical outlet every year. This time around was particularly special as I had a story to tell!

In the several years I have been to ATC, my life has been drastically different each time. From divorce, to an abusive relationship, different career changes, and personal growth as an artist. This year, I finally came into the competition happier than I had been in a long time. I was one week away from taking the LSAT, preparing for a major career shift, and in a solid relationship with the love of my life. ❤️ @therealkennetholacio

For my first song in Quarter Finals, I took the melody of Girl of Constant Sorrow, and rewrote the lyrics to tell my story of the last few years of hardships. It was a beautiful few minutes onstage that added to the healing I have piled up with time. Thank you to everyone who took part in sharing that space with me.

I've been meaning to post about the absolute blast I had performing with the Asheville Symphony Orchestra last Monday. Thank you, @avlsymphony and @darkobutorac, for creating a magical night with me! I was honored to be a guest vocalist for your country and folk concert this season.

You guys should absolutely check them out and make a trip to Asheville! It's a lovely town surrounded by mountains, history, and (of course) music!

It was truly amazing to come full circle by finishing the story I told in "Girl of Constant Sorrow" with this tribute to the man that always has my back. @therealkennetholacio my life has been nothing but upwards trajectory since the moment we met. And a humongous part of that was having such a loving, supportive, and strong partner like you. Coming up on 2 years but it feels like I've known you for a decade. ❤️😘 I love you.
