Basic idea is to keep the product flat packed for ease of shipping, and maybe one day you can customise the pieces.
More technical features are to be added for easy alignment.

Before working on terrazzo and finding a studio to make the glass shade, I reached for cardboard.

If it were up to me, I’d probably build my whole house out of cardboard.

After a few rounds of cutting, folding and tweaking the crown cap form, I finally landed on the proportions that felt right. by @ekta.padmakumar

It all started with a crown cap.
Tappo (quite literally meaning cap in Italian)

The lampshade is made from remelted beer, wine and olive oil bottled, while the base is terrazzo, made with cement and recycled glass bottle shards.
