Gutted to miss the cut by 1 at @opendeportugal
Thanks for a great event , we had amazing conditions.

70-67 putter not warm enough to pretend to score lower ! But the game feels good, and I know what I have to work on.

See you next week at @opendefrance . by @el_decott

England last week. Cut made. ✅

Won’t sugarcoat it tough week. Course conditions were rough, cause of a dry summer and you had to do with it .
Thanks to the staff and member tho, you guys were really kind to us!

Weekends rounds didn’t go the way I wanted, and I spent most of it fighting rather than playing.

Glad how I handled myself on Friday and made a great birdie on my 35th hole to have some air for the cut

Sometimes that’s the win. Not the scoreboard , the shot that shows you the game is trending , under some pressure even if the game was poor that day .

Take the positives. Reset. Next one.

@opendeportugal week, can’t wait for this one .

What does it take for a club to earn a place in a Tour player’s bag? 👀⛳

At The Caversham for the English Trophy on the @hotelplannertour , we caught up with French professional @el_decott to talk about his game, life competing on Tour and the thinking behind his equipment choices.

We also get into his relationship with @wilsongolf and take a closer look at the Wilson irons sitting in the bag — because at this level, equipment isn’t there simply because it looks good. It has to perform when every shot matters.

A great insight into the player and the equipment behind the player.

Would you game the Wilson irons?

2nd at the Iris Challenge ☘️ 🏆

I’m not going to lie , I needed a minute to let this sink in ( and 2 pints of splitting the G )😅😉

That putt on 18. To be clubhouse leader. To give myself a chance to win. I’ve replayed that moment a hundred times already. That’s what this game is about. That’s why we do all of this.

I Sunday was brutal. I knew exactly what was at stake , every single shot, every single decision. And somehow, I managed to just… play golf. My golf. That’s the part I’m most proud of.

This result changes how I see the end of this season. But more than that it confirms every choice I’ve made over the last few years. The hard ones. The lonely ones. The ones people didn’t always understand.

To everyone who sent messages thank you. It means more than you know. 🙌

@hotelplannertour @killeencastle it was a 10/10 week. The course was amazing as well as the staff .

@ffgolf merci pour les opportunités de jeu ces deux dernières années qui m’ont amené à construire ce résultat .

To my family and Momo you never stopped believing, even when I did. I didn’t took the easiest life and you’ve always been there That’s everything. ❤️

To my sponsors and former sponsors without you, this story would have ended a long time ago. Simple as that

To my team : Jérôme, Antoine, Sophie and Adri every session, every conversation, every moment with you makes me better. I try to make it count.

And Aleks @aleksbyrne10 — hell of a young lad. You were an amazing caddie this week. Really happy I got to meet you and live this with you. Remember this one. 🤝

To @wilsongolf and @titleistfrance @titleistukireland — thank you for the support and the equipment that lets me play my game as freely as possible.

Now — one week at home. Rest. And enjoy the @comportabluesfestival 🎵🌊

The story continues. 🖤

Sometimes magic happens

340 yards run out and ending there ..

Great golf shot from the hazard to set up an easy birdie to tie @jamesmdb 😃😃

Easy set ups and courses doesn’t leave space for some errors on this tour! Except with a hot putter
Mine was good enough , just didn’t capitalize on some good shots , and missed some easy up&downs.

Had a great range sesh yesterday , realizing that kids, basic have to be checked every week😃😂.
That’s why this job is insane, if you’re smart enough you’re basically learning every week!

Onto Ireland and the best course on the @hotelplannertour !
