Introducing our Hardwire artists for Friday!

Hailing from Bristol and now based in Sydney, EL-IXR channels her global journey drawing from the gritty heartbeat of her hometown’s underground scene, she weaves bass heavy beats, UKG, jungle, and breaks into an elixir of high-voltage wobbles, bassy rhythms and energy that hits you in the chest. Having graced some of Sydney’s stages including Chinese Laundry, the Abercrombie & City Recital Hall, EL-IXR brings that body-moving sound that connects the underground across continents.

MACAM is a Sydney-born, Canberra-forged DJ pushing a hard-hitting blend of hard house, hardgroove, and techno. Known for his thunderous kicks, rolling basslines, and high-velocity energy, he brings a raw and euphoric edge to every set. Drawing inspiration from Kyle Starkey, Kettama, and X Club, MACAM has been shaping a sound that sits firmly in the warehouse: heavy, fast, and unapologetically driving.

Eora based DJ OUTTHEGATE (OTG) is etching his place in the underground scene with an energetic blend of Hard House, Hard Groove, Dance, and UKG. His rising momentum has seen him become a familiar face across a wide range of Sydney clubs, including XL Sydney and Glass House Sydney, earning a reputation for high energy dance-floors.

Introducing our Hardwire artists for Friday!

Andrew Wowk is a DJ, producer, radio host, promoter, and writer who has been active in the Eora (Sydney) electronic music scene for over 20 years. First introduced to dance music culture through work experience at community radio station Rhythm FM at age 16, Andrew exudes a passion for and knowledge of music that is the result of years of experience. Andrew is passionate about social and political issues and strongly believes in using music as a medium for addressing these issues. Much of the music he loves was originally created in tandem with social, cultural, and political movements, and he believes that contemporary music should also carry a message. To put this into practice, he launched Music For Change, a label which donates 100% of profits from all releases to various charities, alongside Jessica Tassone in 2021. Releases on the label have been supported by international artists such as Dave Clarke, Ani Klang, and Alchemist/Amy Kisnorbo, played on BBC Radio 1, and added to the rotation on local radio stations FBI Radio and 2SER.

Morpho is an Eora based DJ and upcoming producer who weaves textural, low-end-heavy rominimal house and electro. This time he’s backed with a bag of records that showcase both old and new sounds. With a focus on long blends and a progression in energy, expect a connection that keeps the room locked in from start to finish.
