POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some childhood adventures had red roofs and wooden walls. 🤠🌵

LEGO 6769 — Fort Legoredo.

One look at those gates and we’re back on the living room floor. The cavalry is heading out, the wagon is approaching, and someone’s keeping watch from the tower.

We didn’t need a screen to disappear into the Wild West. Just a handful of bricks and an afternoon that never seemed long enough. ✨

Swipe for a little trip back to the frontier. 👉

Did Fort Legoredo make it into your childhood collection — or is it still on your wishlist? 👇

Blue sails. Brave soldiers. A whole sea of childhood memories. ⛵💙

The LEGO Caribbean Clipper brings back a time when the living room floor became an ocean — and the next adventure was always just a few bricks away.

With its blue-and-white sails, Imperial crew and original box, this classic belongs in the spotlight.

Swipe for a closer look at LEGO 6274. 🔎

Were you sailing with the Imperial Soldiers, or flying the pirate flag? ⚓🏴‍☠️

Some sets never lose their magic.

👋 Meet El Pimpi!

Time to put a face to the bricks. 🧱

Meet El Pimpi — my digital alter ego and, from now on, a familiar face around here.

You’ll see him popping up with vintage finds, collector stories, new arrivals… and the occasional set looking for a new home. 😉

Because for me, LEGO has never been just about the bricks.
It’s about the memories, the nostalgia and the stories behind them.

Good bricks tell great stories.

Welcome to El Pimpi Bricks. 👋

It’s all in the details.

For me, vintage LEGO isn’t just about owning a complete set.

The original box, the inner tray, the instructions and even the smallest inserts are part of the story. They survived more than 30 years together, and that’s what makes sets like LEGO 6277 Imperial Trading Post so special.

These are the details I love preserving.

What detail makes a vintage set special for you?

🏴‍☠️ Vintage treasure: LEGO 6276 Eldorado Fortress

Released in 1989, Eldorado Fortress is one of the true icons of the classic LEGO Pirates era.

The raised baseplate, Imperial Soldiers, working crane, boats, cannons and that unmistakable yellow-white fortress make this one of those sets that instantly brings you back to the golden age of LEGO Pirates.

Even better when you can preserve it together with its original box and instructions.

What’s your favourite classic Pirates set?

Welcome to El Pimpi Bricks! 🧱🏴‍☠️

What started as a love for the LEGO sets I grew up with, slowly turned into a passion for collecting, preserving and finding those special sets that bring back memories.

Pirates, Castle, Western, Space, Star Wars… vintage or new — if it has a great story, I’m interested. 😉

I’m Wim, collector and self-appointed CHO — Chief Happiness Officer of El Pimpi Bricks. 😎

Here I’ll share pieces from my collection, new finds, sets for sale and, above all, my passion for LEGO.

Same Bricks. More Stories.
