Don’t forget, we’ll be at Vans Warped Tour this Sunday, July 26th in Long Beach, Ca. Narvas painted this awesome guitar for a worthy cause, and it’ll be auctioned off at the event. #hepcat #warpedtour2026 taken in Boyle heights Hood by @el_tee_three

OH MY WOW!! I came home from work today, and this was waiting on my porch. Thankfully it hasn’t been too hot today. I should have my turntables up by Saturday, and this’ll be first on the playlist. Thanks for the music! #aggrolites #piratepressrecords taken in Los Angeles, California by @el_tee_three

Hepcat performed at Reggae Jam On The Coast in August 1995. This short-lived Oxnard, CA-based festival also featured Third World, The Wailers Band, The Skatalites, Maxi Priest, among others. Who remembers this festival?

Big thanks to @jpwags1980 for the invite to the Musack Rock & Roll Carnival. We had such a blast, and the Aggrolites put on an awesome show as expected. I mustered up the courage to ask for a pic with one of my faves, Lt Dangle aka @thomaspatricklennon taken in Los Angeles, California by @el_tee_three

I bought a cheap press off Amazon, and here’s my attempt at a two color job. I made some of these shirts for the guys in our group. #rogerrivasallstars by @el_tee_three

Just stumbled upon this ska documentary from The Netherlands from 1999, “Lola da Musica: The Many Lives of Ska (De vele levens van ska).”

It focuses a lot on Jamaican legends Laurel Aitken, Rico Rodriguez, and Ernest Ranglin, as well as Jerry Dammers of The Specials. It also features Gaz Mayall and yes, Greg Lee and Hepcat.

Check out these two clips of Greg and Hepcat that I sliced together as they’re incredibly special for many reasons. I’m sure they’ll trigger similar emotions.

The doc can be found by searching for it on YouTube.
