Wow, I expected this when I went into the book, but it was so steamy!! Loved it!!

Two spicy novellas into one book, two taboo relationships, Christmas holidays, a ranch, cowboys, what more could you want from a spicy book?

I love how the relationships were done, starting from how forbidden they both felt and after two cheating exes? They both deserved to feel great in their new relationships, no matter how forbidden they felt.

Saddles & Snowfall was about Brad and Flinn. I loved how their story started!! With a misunderstanding then to the exploding reveal about who Flinn was. To both of them falling in love with each other. I loved heir story so much!

Bouquets & Buckles was about Skylar and Lucas. I love how forbidden it felt, with Lucas being Skylar's best friend's father. I loved the moments they stole with each other in the time they had together.

I was a bit worried about how this would pan out, but I shouldn't have! I knew they would work things out with Brad! He's the epitome of chill guy. I loved how Lucas went to Skylar at the end to get her back and to grovel a bit for taking so long to reach out to her.

The book is perfect to read during the holidays if you love spicy books!

The entire book was cute, wholesome and amazing!! I don't have enough words to describe how cute it was!

The Secret Paris Ingredient follows Leila, a chef that's in danger of loosing her Bistro and to save it she needs to present a good juggling of her personal and professional life. That's why she needs to find herself a fake boyfriend, to impress the man that wants to invest in her.

The perfect man for the job shows up exactly when she needs it most, Benji, her best friend's brother with which she's been friends but lost contact when he left out of the blue. Benji is a photographer who's been to a multitude of places all over the world and took photos, so he's quite good at what he does. And he's at the perfect time in life when he can just pack up and go again, this time with Leila, to Paris.

Their time in Paris is so sweet!! It might be cheesy for some, but sometimes it's just like this, quiet evenings, time spent talking with each other, re-discovering themselves. I felt like they were the perfect fit from the very beginning. Benji is so sweet and calm and supportive, he really understood Leila and he tried to be there for her in any way possible.

I love how they went from friends to lovers, it all felt so linear and no-nonsense, they both were good for each other. Leila also tried to push Benji to explore, even when he was mostly there to support her in this endeavor. And to also post more to become more visible, because him being a photographer relies a lot of being visible to others.

I loved how the book ended! I was a bit surprised at her choice regarding the bistro, but I can get why that made better sense for her.

In this book we have Araceli who suddenly loses her father and her family's fortune overnight, her life takes a turn for the very bad. She’s forced to live under the control of the people responsible with no other choice. She know something isn't right and she fights to uncover the truth behind her father's disappearance and the corruption threatening her hometown.

I absolutely loved Araceli as a main character! Her powers were something that pulled me in the story, and I loved seeing her gradually embrace them and discover what she was truly capable of. The connection she shares with her family, both living and dead, is so special. The way her family is such an important part of her life made the story more beautiful to me.

I love how she reached out to Alvaro and knew she could trust him to help her in her quest. I loved how their relationship was portrayed.

I know the author worked with sensitivity readers due to the culture she represents in the book, so that's appreciated! I'm not part of this culture so I'm not sure how accurate everything is from that point of view.

I enjoyed the book and I'm happy I got to read it! 🧡

This was so different and I loved it!! I didn't expect this to work so well but it really did and I'm happy to have read it! A couple formed by a vampire and a werewolf? Definitely unexpected and I knew I had to read it.

The banter between Aurora and Harkin was amazing! I love banter to the moon and back and this was really done well.

I love how Harkin's protective instinct brought them together and how things evolved between them. It didn't feel rushed at all.

Even if they've met once before but they were coupled with other people, it was sweet to see each perspective on their first meeting and what would've happened that day if things were a bit different.

And Waffles?!! OMG! He's just so cute! Even if he's a zombie mix Frankenstein pup, he's managed to capture my heart.

And the spicy scene at the end? Oh my, I didn't expect it but I have to say I loved it!!

Dead Before Tea Time by @officialmcbeaton 💛💛

My review 💛

This was such a nice read! I loved the mystery of the book and it really kept me in the story. I really didn't suspect who might've killed the dead person until the last few chapters when I was starting to get more ideas. So the mystery was done really well!

Loved the cozy vibes of the city and how the people fought to save the Red Lion pub. It's nice to see the community fighting together for something beloved by everyone.

And I loved Agatha's involvement even when the police did everything to stop her involvement in the murder investigation, especially that police officer who I'd rather not see again, what an idiot!

Agatha is really good at what she does and I loved seeing her following the clues and finding the smallest details about things to work out who really did it.
