“TrusT” | Senior Solo @halfaliveco

Finally documenting this, my first ever and last competitive solo 🤍

Thank you @jaala.zm for the perfect choreography. I still don’t think I’ve mastered it, but it’s taught me so much. Timing, patience, how to return to the basics, courage to change the way I move and flow, and how to take care of my body to avoid injury (still made a few mistakes there lol).

I’m thankful for every teacher who gave me tips & every hour I had at @dance_u_studio to refine this piece.

So much love for @halfaliveco for releasing the music that’s impacted me the most and for @ja_collective whose choreography has inspired me as a dancer beyond words.

And thank you so much to EVERYONE who helped me along the way learning this :,) A high school dance solo might seem small for a lot of people, but TrusT has been huge for me and I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity. by @elainaa_h
