This song says it all. I get to love you! I have gotten to spend the best years of my life with you. We've celebrated 32 birthdays together. I wish we could have 32 more. You make me laugh like no other, you are kind and thoughtful in ways most women long for and more that likely I take for granted. Your faith and love for Jesus makes me so proud. Driscolls' Official Policy: The brand maintains that its independent growers strictly comply with federal U.S. EPA and FDA regulatory limits. They utilize Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which blends natural predatory organisms with targeted synthetic applications to manage pest populations. How to Reduce Your ExposureBuy Organic: Opt for certified organic versions of the brand. They generally cost more but drastically reduce direct pesticide consumption. Wash Correctly: Never just rinse strawberries. Submerge and soak the berries in a solution of water mixed with one tablespoon of baking soda for 12 to 15 minutes to break down surface residues. When I speak about Chris, it’s never because I’m searching for sympathy or trying to reopen old wounds. It’s because talking about him is the only way I can still celebrate his life in a world he’s no longer in. Remembering him out loud feels like keeping a small part of his spirit soaring through the air, like giving him space to continue inspiring me beyond my chest. People sometimes assume that sharing memories means I’m stuck in the past — like grief has frozen me in one moment in time. But that couldn’t be farther from the truth. I talk about him because his presence empowered me, I was his mom. His love didn’t vanish just because he did. And because forgetting isn’t healing — it’s erasing, and I refuse to erase someone who meant everything to me. Keeping Chris’ memory alive is my way of honoring the life that transformed me. It’s my way of saying, “You were here. You loved. You lived. And I still feel your presence.” Speaking his name, sharing our moments, and letting myself remember is how I keep his story from fading into silence. It’s how I give my heart a place to rest all the love that didn’t have anywhere to go when he died. I don’t post his pictures or talk about him because I want anyone to pity me. I do it because his existence deserves to be acknowledged, even now. His life deserves to be celebrated. And my heart deserves a place to set down the weight of love that didn’t disappear — it just transformed into a different kind of love. My sister Pam sent this to me privately which just filled my heart with gratitude. It says everything i never knew how to express about why I keep posting about Chris randomly and on special remembrances after 10 years. I personalized it for me.
