One Eye open, one Eye closed. The Eye Earrings come as an asymmetric pair — the sunburst-framed All-Seeing Eye, but in two small studs that look in different directions.

These earrings suggest, more openly than any other piece in the collection, that our introspection is far from perfect. There are days you are vigilant in one corner of your life and entirely absent in another.

Two ear cuffs from two different collections, but both constructed around arches.

The Greatness Gone arch is a sunburst, a fan of sharp lines borrowed from the fanlight above a 1920s doorway. The Whole one is a mix of things: a gothic arch, an ammonite, a curved leaf adorned with shining silver drops, radiating outward like the ribs of a vault.

An arch is what lets a building hold its own weight without looking heavy, and it does roughly the same job on an ear. It wraps the curve and stays there with no piercing. The chains hang from underneath and swing whenever you turn your head. by @elanic.gallery

Is it a cliché to say everyone in the room will notice your earrings? Probably. But with these it’s simply stating a fact. Just look at them 🤷‍♀✨

Over 30cm long, with big pear-cut quartz, then rows of seed beads and silver chains falling down your chest. They swing and wind over it as you move, doing the job of a necklace too. For whenever you want to be seen coming.

This is what a batch of corset rings looks like a few minutes after casting.

They appear closer to coral or scaffolding than to jewellery: an eerie dull grey structure, pointing in all directions at once.

Then each one gets cut off, filed and polished, laced with chain and turns into a ring. But this first look after birth is the most mysterious. by @elanic.gallery
