Q4 is officially here, which means time is flying and we’re just months away from saying I Do! I’m enjoying every bit of this wedding journey because I doesss this!!

Still thinking about my Antwerp trip with my little sis. I love that wedding planning keeps gifting me new places to be inspired and create. How ironic that the trip to meet my wedding dress designer landed right during Antwerp Art Week, and I didn’t even plan it that way. How aligned is that?! This city just gets me, and I have a feeling this is the first of many…

I truly don’t even know if I have the words for this one. ❤️

I’ve always known how special my dad is, but to see his life’s work and impact honored in a way this BIG is something I’m still trying to wrap my mind around.

My dad officially has a branch named after him in Lansing, Michigan. Like… WHAT?! 😭

There’s something so special about watching your parents receive their flowers while they’re here to experience them. My parents have spent my entire life showing me what it means to work hard, lead with integrity, serve others, and leave things better than you found them. So much of who I am is because of who they are.

Dad, your name on that building represents every person you’ve poured into, every life you’ve touched, and the legacy you’ve built along the way. Generations of people will walk through doors with your name above them. That is LEGACY.

I’m beyond proud to be your daughter, proud to carry your name, and so grateful to witness this moment.

It’s never lost on me how phenomenal the women in my family are. I grew up surrounded by women I could look up to and aspire to be like. My Aunt Karen is one of them.

As my mama’s big sister-cousin, she’s always been the “beauty auntie.” The one who taught me about being fabulous and setting standards. My jet-setting auntie with the biggest heart, an incredible sense of humor, and truly top tier style. My second mama and another voice of reason.

Aunties are essential. I’m grateful to be surrounded by so many incredible, powerful women.

Getting her girlfriends and our family together to celebrate her 70th birthday in Mexico is a memory I’ll cherish forever. What you’re looking at is over 50+ years of friendship.
