MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE 🎄🎅

Not your usual Christmas delivery, but way more usual than you think.

I was sent this advert - by @johnlewis a few weeks ago. I'd like to praise them and the team for putting together such a brilliant little story. It's not often you see this on TV, I don't think I've seen it on UK TV. It's so important that people get a look into the reality of others, even if its is through a Christmas advert.

THE CARE SYSTEM.

Christmas time for so many children and young adults can be very difficult, weather it's due to not having family or not feeling safe or at home. A lot of these children and young adults are In foster care or childrens homes.
Out of the 12 million children living in England, just under 400,000 (3%) are known to the social care system at any one time. An estimated 5.4 million children live in foster care institutions around the world.

I have included Instagrams of charities working with children in care. If all you come away with is a little more information and understanding, then this post wasn't for nothing.

Again, a big thank you to @johnlewis for giving their Christmas advert to tell a story that people need to see 💖

Have a great Christmas

We’ve repeated this affirmation far too many times. Catch up on P-Valley, only on STARZ.

Busy doing…… life 🤍

Apart from being in an industry where I now spend a lot more time in my taping room 👀 I’m finding as much time as I can to keep filling my days with all the other things that make me happy.

My dog can be a little shit, but he is actually the best.
My baking is trash at times but when it’s good - WOW! Cooking is making me bake in this heat, but we have to eat.
If I could have black card for anything it would be facials and massage.

Took a trip to Wales for @lloydpursall Gallery opening of #otrovert 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Amazing to see so much of his beautiful work on display for the public to enjoy.

A huge surprise for me, I had no idea I’d be featured✨

Otrovert is on display at the Art Central Gallery in Barry. Go see it if you get a chance.

Easter 🐣

The best thing about holidays like this, is seeing the people you love.

Yes - I ate the full egg in one sitting and made myself sick.
No - this beach isn’t in England, but it is in Wales!😍
Yes - the Remarkable is absolutely perfect for writing although I only did two pages because I was having far too much fun with everyone.

New space at home 🏠

Just before the end of the year we finally took the boxes out of this room and gave it life with a little help from @coatpaints 🫶🏽

I’m obsessed with #colourdrenching - paint it all!
This was the second room to get a floor to celling make over, we looked for something earthy & warm, but still statement and found CORKED.

Last side - the before.

We did a whole build on the other side housing a fair few books, naming this room our little library📚
