We have a down transformer at our MiMo shop this morning, causing all of our big expensive 3 phase equipment to not spin. Luckily no sparks and everyones okay. Our Midnight bake team was able to boil and bake about 1500 bagels before it hit, so we have some dozens for sale in MiMo, no Sandos. Grove shop is fully stocked up and running biz as usual, so head south past the end of I-95 if you need a sando. Will keep you posted. I thought I saw an FPL truck pulling up just now but it was really just a coconut picker with a bucket lift. Can’t make this shit up. #ITMEANSTHEBAGEL by @elbagel

Massive thank you to all our custies, staff, suppliers, repairmin, landlords, bookkeepers, and friends that make this bagel house a home. We may be a little more quiet on here lately but I can assure you we are still here day in and day out, making more bagels and BEC’s than ever. Wishing a fresh New Year to all those that celebrate. What is 7 years of a Miami restaurant xmas collab in dog years? Is it just 7 human years? Because it feels like a 100 year old bottle of burgundy to us.

Thank you everyone for coming by over the years, we now collectively have a full 7 days of experience running a brunch restaurant.
