TRADER ANNOUNCEMENT - @homiesondonkeys

El Rey returns! Taking home the crown from every single festival they’ve ever entered, Homies On Donkeys join Europe’s biggest taco festival as it returns to its (and their) spiritual home in Walthamstow at @signaturebrewbh October 31st & November 1st.

Starting out at Wood Street Indoor Market, @elchefsmokey and his team were Walthamstow legends before our festival existed! After a quick meeting with our team and Smokey the first ever Tacover was agreed and Homies were the first ever trader signed up.

Serving up modern Mexican food that fuses mind blowing food science and contemporary concepts with traditional flavours and dishes. Homies on Donkeys lead the revolution on Mexican food in London which is now at an all time peak!

We're Back! by @elchefsmokey

From Punk to Reggae to Hip Hop to Jungle.

It all began by DYI.

No club? No problem.

Just 2 turntables and a mic. Some fairy lights would do.

That's how Homies started. Two old cookers from the 90's. 6 seats, some imagination with a dash of naivety.

The Homies DIY'ing since forever.

Peace ✌️ by @elchefsmokey

I hope this helps...

Keep it Nerd Homies.

A mini reflection break in Folkestone. by @elchefsmokey

Failed attempt.

This is a dish I submitted to a competition.

It didn't get selected 😕

An upgrade of our Bone Marrow.

Topped with reversed braised birria with a mustard and habanero emulsion. Mignonette style red onion and a color palette inspired by Dia de Muertos colors.

I feel it deserves a new lease of life on our menu.

Coming Soon.
