Hi and welcome future Eduniners! 🤙

My name is Lindsi Brown, and I will be your mentor for this school year! This post is meant to be an introduction and get to know me before I meet you all in a couple of weeks. I am so excited to be working with you all and cannot wait to see what this year has in store for us!

Like said in the post, I am going into my Junior year of college, and have been part of the Education Learning Community for the past 2 years. The learning community has helped me in so many different areas of my college life, from study hacks and classroom tips to the community I have surrounded myself with. This school year, my goal is to not only help you get settled and feel comfortable in a new place, but also continue to support you throughout the school year in any ways needed!

This instagram is going to be a place for me to share some helpful information for the upcoming year, ways you can feel more prepared to move in and start the semester, and keep the ELC updated on upcoming events on campus and in the learning community. In addition to helpful info prior to the school year, it will be used as a way to share achievements and what the ELC is up to throughout the year.

I cannot wait to meet all of you, and I promise that no other post will ever have this long of a caption. See you soon!! 💚 by @elcpeermentors

Happy LWOC & finals season EduNiners!!
This semester has been amazing for the ELC! Here’s a little recap:
- We kicked off the year with a welcome event—it was so great to meet everyone and hang out before classes started!
- Throughout the semester, we enjoyed team-building activities that helped us grow closer and reminded us of the importance of communication in community—not just as students, but as future teachers too.
- Our incredible mentor team worked tirelessly all semester, putting in so much effort to support the community. (Good job mentors!!)
- Some of our students and mentors even had the incredible opportunity to attend Dinner with the Dean!

All in all, it’s been such a wonderful semester, and we can’t wait for spring!
Good luck on your finals, EduNiners! We hope you have a restful winter break! 💚 by @elcpeermentors
