False information about voting rule changes is spreading on social media originating from the Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre area. Q: Can you post pictures of your marked ballot on social media?
A: No. It is an offense under the Election Act to show your marked ballot so that another person can see how you voted, including posting pictures on social media. The only exception is for a person providing assistance to a voter who needs assistance marking their ballot. This legislation breach is subject to penalty. by @electionsalberta
