Long Post!

6 months ago, I left the corporate career I spent more than a decade building and decided to bet on myself and become a professional speaker.

Since then, I’ve launched a podcast with 31 episodes (and counting), reached listeners across 42 countries, and signed 10 contracts (and counting) to partner with organizations doing work that changes lives.

I get to tell my story. I get to use my gifts to inspire, motivate, and connect with people in ways that bring meaning to my own life, too.

And as beautiful as this season has been, it has also been incredibly humbling.

There have been moments when I’ve had to dig deep and remind myself of everything I’ve already overcome and everything I know I’m capable of. Moments when believing in myself has had to be a decision I make over and over again.

And there have been moments when I’ve needed the people in my life to remind me of who I am, too. The people who lift me up, pour into me, encourage me, and believe in what I’m building. I’m more grateful for them than I can put into words.

I’ve found my calling, and I’m walking in my purpose.

This whole journey has felt like life giving something back to me.

I’m only 6 months in. 🤎 by @electrafication
