You’ve seen the viral TKG shoyu packets from Japan….well, now they’re in Hawaii! Mahalo to @electricbamboo for alerting me when he had lunch at @marukaihawaii today and found them. I went to @donquijotehi and at the time, they weren’t on the shelves (but they are now). There’s a limit on how many you can buy and they don’t know how many cases they have! I must say @adidas has been killing it lately with some of their recent offerings. I love their @cocacola collab collection, but I think they missed out on doing something with Adizero and Coke Zero. ✨✨HILO✨✨

On the Eastside of the Big Island of Hawai’i lays one of the most amazing little secrets in the world.

From the people to the weather, it’s an acquired taste that only those that seek it will understand.

I remember going up almost every other Christmas and New Years to my step dad’s Moms.

I don’t remember exactly where as I was really young like in elementary school but I remember it was close to Hilo HS and there was a small river in her backyard.

This is the first place I seen a cane spider.

Some of my favorite memories were lightning fireworks and running my remote control truck hard over the black cinder.

The rain felt refreshing and the furikake chex mix with the butter was just next level.

I really love places like this and things that remind me of the experiences and moments that brought me joy.

Reliving the memories in new ways has been a breath of life.

When @electricbamboo blessed me with these, I don’t think he knew how much I would appreciate them.

So I wanted to make sure to give him recognition for helping me to connect with a pair of shoes that are more than just that.. they are part of my story.

They say you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes..

I would say maybe.. if you know about their shoes.

This pair is one of the few Hawai’i inspired shoes I have left, so I’m doing my best to document them and preserve them digitally.

I may do a full review on all the Hawai’i inspired kicks one day..

When I heard this track, I knew it was the perfect fit.

Im probably sitting on way too much footage but hearing this inspired me to finish this raw cut up.

I love supporting other independent creators and highlighting what they do.

By finding creative ways to share each other’s work we put forth what we want to see in the algo.

This is my go to when I go to @zippys Pearl City. Regardless of what I order, I always add on the Salmon Skin Temaki from their sushi bar. It’s crispy, refreshing, and there’s a little oil from the broiled salmon skin that makes it hearty. taken in Zippy's Pearl City by @electricbamboo
