A woman who took care of business, but who also understood that life requires balance: The prioritization of those we love, of spreading love, of hearing the call to help others, of expressing one’s inner creativity, and of leaving this world better than we found it.

Dolly was an exemplary human who did just that, and an angelic, playful soul who will always shine bright.

God and everyone she reaches will always love…

Ran into this banger tonight, written a month after quarantine started in 2020. I took the lyrics I wrote, melodies I recorded, and style notes from then and ran it through my production app tonight. I didn’t edit a thing. This is a short clip of Breakdown. I love it. taken in Los Angeles, California by @electricleighdy

Happy Birthday, @alxandra_elizabeth! You’re forever 41 (aka 21) so I won’t mention the age you would have been today 😇
It’s taken me 21 hours to find the words to say for your birthday today, but after twirling in the rain in your honor tonight, all I want is to feel young with you forever. No matter how that happens, I know we’ll always find a way to that.
I’ll always wish that for both of us, my beautiful, kind, funny asf, amazing sister 🩷♾️ taken in Los Angeles, California by @electricleighdy

Alex, you didn’t care for social media, or photos taken of you, or romcoms, but you cared about me. With your whole heart. And I did the same for you, throughout your life.

Though my heart is broken and my eyes are tired from crying through the tremendous heartbreak of losing you, I’ll carry on with love and hope in my heart always, because you always loved a good story, and I’ve gotta keep you entertained while you’re in heaven, and while you’re everywhere ✨

I know God is as happy to have you as we were.
May your soul always stay in the light, may your fashion options in heaven be the best, and may you find peace in carrying abundant joy, love, freedom and hope again.

I’ll never forget you, I’ll always hold you in my heart. Please hold my hand and have slumber parties with me like before (in between your Joshua Tree trips, of course…🕊️).

Alex, I love you more than words can say.
Best friends forever 💖♾️
