Tuve la oportunidad de ir a La Mole y conocer un montón de gente chingona gracias a qué hace unos años me formé en la misma fila de sandwiches que esta mujer. Es una mona talentosísima y me alegra que nos hayamos cruzado el uno en el camino del otro. Y no le vayan a llevar la contraria porque mi amiga patea con ganas.

I'd been wanting to cosplay Bucky for about ten years and I just always told myself I'd look ridiculous and I wouldn't be able to pull it off. Well, I did it... And I love it. I was so very happy looking at myself. I was so very happy sweating like crazy. Stop telling yourself you can't do things and just... Do them. Be it asking your cute neighbor out or spending thousands of pesos on a silly costume.
THANKS TO THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORTED ME TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

Armando y yo nos fuimos a ver One Piece: La Película (2000) y que bonita experiencia. Armando era un mega fan de One Piece ¡y no había visto esta película! Fueron 57 minutos muy lindos de una serie que nunca voy a ver. Lo más bonito fue escuchar a Armando "cantando" alegremente el intro en japonés.

We went to watch Transformers on their "apology tour" and... What a weird, trippy, oddly-dubbed movie. Fascinating little 80s time capsule, tho.
But, by far, to me, the best thing about the experience was the little boy behind us that kept being shocked by everything and getting excited and saying the names of the Transformers. I heard a new fan being created behind me and it was adorable. Kudos to the parents.
Also! The short film, Optimus Prime: Awakening, that played after the movie was gorgeous. (Sadly we watched it in Spanish, so no Peter Cullen for us)

I didn't watch any of the other 7,000 Resident Evil movies and I haven't played any of the games and this... Was wonderful! I understand why some people are hating on it having so much humor, but... I laughed when I had to laugh (more often than expected) and I was feeling the spoopy vibes when I had to. I got the hibbie jibbies more than a couple of times.
It's got some things I didn't love that I won't spoil, but I'm so happy I watched it.

I watched Practical Magic, a movie Danaé LOVES, a week ago. It was very charming, very cute, very 90s, very silly and wholesome. #PracticalMagic2 basically pushes the reset button on all the development of the first one and introduces two new sisters (Bullock's daughters) that have no chemistry with each other and also barely have screentime with each other.
At least Bullock and Kidman still have great chemistry, right? Well... No.
Yeah, this movie was bad and it felt like they were trying to go into YA Star Wars/Harry Potter territory.
To me, it was a boring and bad movie cuz I have no nostalgia for the original... But Danaé was MAD (I think she was a little heartbroken and insulted).

I would like to know why this movie was called Dog Stars. I bet it makes sense in the book that Ridley Scott decided not to read.
Look, I love Margaret Qualley. Period.
Look, the protagonist is supposed to be this optimistic, charming, tortured, but... Nice. And they get Jacob Elordi? The most sinister-looking sexy man out there? No.
I don't wanna kick a dog when it's down, but... This was boring and I don't understand where Ridley was when he allegedly directed this.

LOVED IT! It was funny, heartfelt, clever, inventive... I'm so glad the people that put their blood and tears into this will actually be able to watch it in theaters. (Fuck you, Zazlav)
Wile E. Coyote doesn't speak, but this movie let's you empathize with him and it actually made me "awww" a couple of times.
I'm not a Will Forte fan... But I am a John Cena fan and John Cena is freaking hilarious in this! I didn't like The Day The Earth Blew Up, like... At all, and a lot of people said it was amazing, so I was afraid I was gonna feel the same way, but nope! I had a great time!
There are two characters in this movie that get 2D animated, and, man, they look beautiful. The Fortnite-like cell-shaded animation is... Really not pretty to look at, but the movie is so charming that I [mostly] forgot about it after a while. Go watch it! Support this! This was made with actual love!
