Our time in this world is finite.. what a gift it is to spend it in the presence of works of art by @mick_haigh that connect us to the very essence of nature. #natural clays #closetonature🍀 #madefromtheheart❤️ #naturalclay by @elements_ceramics

Entirely made from unaltered clay dug in the KZN Midlands. So inspiring to listen to @mick_haigh @curacion_collection where his work is currently on exhibition. The enthusiasm for and connection to his work brilliantly expressed in the vessels. #naturalclay #handdug #unaltered #amorphicceramics #amorphicceramics by @elements_ceramics

Spent part of the morning @curacion_collection with @mick_haigh and his wonderful wood fired vessels. Can't wait to see the home built Anagama. #woodfired #anagama #naturalclay #backtonature by @elements_ceramics

The art of Japanese dry Zen gardens. Intended to imitate the essence of nature and not its actual appearance. And to serve as an aid to meditation. And this is where I find ceramic 3D printing so interesting. After creating the design in 3D, to then sit and watch the technology produce that image is quite meditative. Yes, it is not directly made by your own hand, but it is a different way of expressing what is possible and pushing the boundaries. And again the line that we use to express our creativity features. by @elements_ceramics
