Seit 2010 ist Le Verre Capricieux fester Bestandteil des historischen Parks unseres Weinguts in Tramin. Entworfen vom Architekten David Stuflesser, liegt es wie ein Juwel zwischen den Bäumen, nur zwei Schritte von dort entfernt, wo alles begann. ✨ Für ein Glas Castel Ringberg, einen Schluck Kastelaz ... und all die Zeit, die Sie sich gönnen möchten.Dal 2010 Le Verre Capricieux è parte integrante del parco storico della nostra tenuta di Termeno. Firmato dall’architetto David Stuflesser, è incastonato tra gli alberi, a due passi da dove tutto è cominciato. ✨ Per un calice di Castel Ringberg, un sorso di Kastelaz... e tutto il tempo che vorrete concedervi. Ein Jahrhundert Geschichte, verewigt in massivem Eichenholz: Dieses Fass wurde einst für unser hundertjähriges Jubiläum geschaffen: 1869 bis 1969.In unserer Familie hat jeder große Meilenstein sein eigenes, von Hand geschnitztes Fass erhalten. Wer genau hinsieht, erkennt am Rand die Wappen jener Länder, in die unsere Weine schon damals reisten.Mehr als 150 Jahre später stehen diese Fässer noch immer in unserem Keller. Jedes von ihnen bewahrt ein eigenes Kapitel unserer Geschichte.Un secolo di storia intagliato nel legno: questa botte nasce per celebrare il nostro centenario, 1869–1969.Nella nostra famiglia è una tradizione antica: ogni grande traguardo merita la sua botte, scolpita interamente a mano. Osservando il bordo da vicino, si scorgono gli stemmi dei Paesi, che i nostri vini raggiungevano già a quel tempo.Oltre 150 anni dopo, queste botti riposano ancora nella nostra cantina, e ognuna custodisce un capitolo della nostra storia.One hundred years carved into a single face of oak: this barrel was crafted for our centenary, 1869–1969.It’s a family tradition here, every milestone was given its own barrel, carved entirely by hand.Look closely at the rim: you’ll find the coats of arms of the lands our wines traveled to, even back then.More than 150 years on, these barrels still stand in our cellar, each holding a chapter of our story.#elenawalch #winebarrel by @elena.walch

EWA: le iniziali di nostra madre, 𝐄lena 𝐖𝐀lch, racchiuse in una bottiglia.Dedicarle questo vino è il nostro modo di celebrare il suo ruolo in azienda e la storia che continuiamo a costruire insieme, giorno dopo giorno.Gewürztraminer, Müller Thurgau e Chardonnay: tre vitigni che crescono separati per poi incontrarsi ogni primavera. Un po’ come quando la famiglia si ritrova tutta attorno allo stesso tavolo.🌼EWA steht für 𝐄lena 𝐖𝐀lch: die Initialen unserer Mutter, eingefangen in einer Flasche.Diesen Wein nach ihr zu benennen, war unsere Art, ihre Rolle im Weingut und die Geschichte, die wir jeden Tag gemeinsam weiterfremden, zu würdigen.Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau, Chardonnay – drei Rebsorten, getrennt voneinander gewachsen und jeden Frühling zusammengeführt. So, wie eine Familie immer wieder am selben Tisch zusammenfindet. Alcuni dei nostri vini non si limitano a invecchiare in cantina... Intraprendono un viaggio ✨ ✨La storia di Beyond the Clouds Argentum Bonum inizia a 2.000 metri di quota, all’imbocco del Poschhausstollen in Val Ridanna, una galleria scavata un tempo dai minatori alla ricerca di quello che si diceva fosse l’argento più puro d’Europa.Seguiamo le loro tracce a bordo di un vecchio treno minerario, addentrandoci per 3,5 km all’interno della montagna, sempre più a fondo nell’oscurità. Lì, nelle viscere della roccia, la luce non riesce ad arrivare. Nessun suono, se non la pietra e il silenzio.Solo 11 °C, il 95% di umidità e il tempo.Einige unserer Weine reifen nicht einfach nur im Keller.. Sie begeben sich auf eine Reise ✨ ✨Die Geschichte von Beyond the Clouds Argentum Bonum beginnt auf 2.000 Metern Höhe, am Eingang des Poschhausstollens im Ridnauntal, einem Tunnel, den einst Bergleute auf der Suche nach dem wohl feinsten Silber Europas in den Fels schlugen. Wir folgen ihren Spuren und fahren mit einer alten Grubenbahn 3,5 Kilometer weit in den Berg hinein, immer tiefer in die Dunkelheit.Dort, drei Kilometer tief im Fels, erreicht kein Licht den Wein. Kein Geräusch, nur Stein und Stille.Nichts als 11 °C, 95 % Luftfeuchtigkeit und Zeit.Some of our wines don’t just age in a cellar.. They go on a journey ✨ ✨Beyond the Clouds Argentum Bonum begins at 2,000 metres, at the mouth of the Poschhausstollen in Val Ridanna, a tunnel once carved by miners chasing silver said to be the finest in Europe. C’è un luogo sopra Termeno che sfida la gravità: è la Vigna Kastelaz.Un anfiteatro naturale così ripido che quassù le macchine non possono salire; ogni singolo gesto, dalla potatura alla vendemmia, è fatto rigorosamente a mano.L’esposizione è un regalo raro in questa regione: completamente rivolta a sud, baciata dal sole.Non è quindi, un caso se ha ottenuto la menzione ufficiale “Vigna” e... il titolo di “Regina del Gewürztraminer”—There is a place above Tramin that defies gravity: it is the Kastelaz vineyard.A natural amphitheater so steep that machinery cannot climb it; every single step, from pruning to harvest, is done strictly by hand. The exposure is a rare gift in this region: entirely south-facing, bathed in sunlight.It is no coincidence, then, that it earned the official “Vigna” designation, giving life to the wine that crowned Elena Walch as the “Queen of Gewürztraminer”#elenawalch #vignakastelaz #altoadige by @elena.walch
