🇬🇧 I absolutely love autumn, especially because of all the wonderful play opportunities nature offers us. You already know that nature-based play activities are my favourite and a regular feature on this page.
I tried to film and share some of them with you, although there are still so many variations I didn’t manage to capture… so maybe there’ll be another video. Haha!
Through these simple activities, children develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, precision and early maths skills.
One of the reasons I love the Montessori approach is that children don’t need expensive toys — they need opportunities to explore independently, learn and enjoy the process. ✨ taken in Haarlem, Netherlands by @elenagagic

🇬🇧Nature-based games are always my favourite, and this one is another little gem. Simple, screen-free, and fun for kids of different ages — the kind of game that proves you really don’t need much to have fun.

Some cupcakes are made to be eaten. 🧁
And some are made to make someone smile.
This one is made with a little creativity, a sprinkle of love and a whole lot of happiness — no oven required.

Not an ad, I just genuinely fell in love with this little necklace 🤍🌷

I turned one of my daughter’s drawings into a keepsake I can wear every day, and I honestly couldn’t love it more. 🥹

🇬🇧International Coffee Day

One year, countless coffees, and even more beautiful moments — at home, on the road, between busy days, on adventures, and with the people I love.

Because coffee is never just a drink. It’s a pause, a pleasure, a conversation, and a little joy in everyday life.

Whether alone or in good company, enjoy your coffee with a smile and make the most of the moment.

Happy International Coffee Day! by @elenagagic

BACKSTREET BOYS IN DÜSSELDORF — EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW 🪩✨

If you’re going to the show, save this! 👇🏻

🕗 SHOW TIME
The concert started right on time at 8 PM and finished around 10 PM — no break.

🍺 DRINKS
• Beer 0.5L — €7.50 + €3 deposit
• Cocktails — €14
• Brezel — €7
• Cola Zero — €6 + cup deposit
✨ The branded concert cup is actually a cute souvenir!

🚻 TOILETS
Expect long lines :)
Ladies: use the women-only toilets if you can — there are 10+ toilets there, compared with only around 3 women’s toilets in the unisex area.

🚇 GETTING THERE
The U-Bahn/main station can get EXTREMELY crowded before the show, so give yourself plenty of extra time.

✨ AFTER THE SHOW
The U-Bahn situation was actually really well organized. People were directed out quickly and the arena exit was smooth and fast.

📍 INSIDE THE ARENA
Finding your seat is easy — there are lots of staff around to guide you.

And honestly… the atmosphere + acoustics were SO good. 🥹🫶🏻

🤍 And whatever you do, don’t forget to wear WHITE and enjoy the incredible vibe that takes over the entire city.

A truly special experience. Thank you, Düsseldorf. 🤍✨

🇬🇧Inspired by the clear sky and shining stars, we decided to turn their sparkle into creativity. ⭐️
I drew a star, and Talia tore the foil into little pieces. Tearing helps develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, finger strength and precision, while also encouraging concentration and independence.
Then she applied glue to the paper and placed each piece one by one… carefully, patiently and with lots of curiosity.

And that’s how this beautiful, shining star came to life — while the children’s eyes shine just as brightly when they enjoy creative activities together with their parents. ❤️
