Directed by Imran Perretta @imranperretta , ISH premiered at the Venice and London Film Festivals. The film follows two best friends whose childhood is forever changed after a traumatic police stop-and-search driven by racial profiling tears them apart, forcing Ish to confront loss, growing up, and the reality of living in a society where brown boys are constantly watched and criminalised. Bianca Scout & Elena Isolini (Daughter Mary) Dance Workshop 14th April 10am-12pm at Britannia Row, Islington £10 tickets via link in bio @gel.now Bianca Scout & Elena Isolini (Daughter Mary) will be offering a workshop to develop “Act 1” of their next project. Daughter Mary began as accessible ballet workshops that were held weekly at SET Lewisham between 2018-2020. As long term collaborators across music, film and dance - Bianca & Elena are now in the process of writing and workshopping “Anon’s Ballet” together. With Bianca’s background in dance and Elena’s background in film, together they approach storytelling through gestural and emotive group work. The movement blends classical ballet technique with unrestricted gestures while exploring scene making and character study.
