Oh, this front-hand board-off… 😅
Still fighting with it, but there’s been some serious improvement!

You know why we practise front-hand board-offs, right?
So we can eventually start adding kite loops with the back hand. But first, you need to get really comfortable and confident with front-hand board-offs.
One step at a time! 🤙

Today I did my highest kite loop ever 9.3 meters according to Surfr and 10.8 meters according to Woo!

Of course, nobody filmed it, but no worries
there’ll be another chance!🤙

Top “Secret” Tips for a Stylish Backroll Downloop Transition.

I tried to fit everything I wanted to say into a one-minute video.
Hope you like it! 😊

And one really important “secret”:

Style doesn’t come from doing more movements. It comes from removing unnecessary movements.

Relaxed legs, a compact body, a calm head, and precise loop timing will look much more professional than a huge rotation with constant corrections and frantic bar movements.

I’m honestly more excited that I managed to get this on camera than that I actually landed the trick 🤣

It’s such a responsibility when someone is standing there filming you.
My board is slipping out from under my feet, there’s no wind, the kite isn’t pulling, and basically everything is going wrong 🤣

And what a day - literally the one day in four months in Sri Lanka when someone was actually filming me 🥰

I love this place @kite.buddies 🥰

You can spend the day training in the flat water of Kappalady Lagoon and when you’re tired of tricks and just want to watch the sunset and ride some waves, you simply cross the sandy sandbar.

It takes barely a minute and suddenly you’re in the Indian Ocean. 🤩🤩🤩

Lagoon for training. Ocean for sunset sessions.
Couldn’t ask for a better setup.

My Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

Sri Lanka gave me some of the kindest people and the best company I could have asked for.

And honestly, I don’t really understand how you can leave a place and say, “I didn’t like it.”

We have this amazing opportunity to travel, see the world and meet people from completely different backgrounds.

I don’t think there is a single country or city that can simply be “good” or “bad”. It’s not a pair of shoes that either fits your taste or doesn’t. 😂

Try not to look at a place as something that exists to serve you.

You’re not in a shop. You’re not here to buy everything or everyone.

You’re a guest. You came to someone else’s home.

And what you bring with you - your attitude, your energy, your openness - is what you’ll take away with you.

So maybe, in the end, the question is always… about you. ❤️
