maisy was such a good dog to me and my family. she lived to about 15, we got her when i was 3. she was scruffy's best friend before he passed. she loved her lap snuggles, car rides, and "frenchies" (french fries). oh what i'd give to bring her to chick-fil-a one last time. she used to love chasing horse flies and eating them😭 she was loved so much in our family. i miss you so much maisy paisy pudding pie, i hope you're reunited with your bestie now <3 by @elenaxgracee

Hello friends and family!
I'm so excited and happy to announce that I've made the decision to go to Sierra Leone, Africa for missions in November! We will be serving and loving the least of these, spreading the gospel to orphans, prisoners, prostitutes, and really just shining the light of Jesus to everyone and anyone we are around!

That being said, I'm needing help getting there! The entire cost for the trip will be $3600. I'm needing $250 by THIS Friday (September 11th) to guarantee my spot on the team this year, and $1000 by September 18th. If you feel led to help me reach those milestones, I would be eternally grateful! If you're unable to give, please pray that I reach my goals to go on this mission!

These are my ways to donate:
Komeo: https://komeo.managedmissions.com/MyTrip/elenashortey1
Cashapp: $elenaxgrace
Venmo: elenaxgrace
Zelle: 405-415-5022

I'm also using my business as a way to fund myself. If you are or know anyone needing any cleaning or organizing done, or a vehicle detailed, please reach out! I love to work hard and hustle to reach my goals in life.

I'm so excited to endeavor on this new adventure and see where God takes me and what He is going to do through me! ❤️ by @elenaxgracee

And just like that, Evie is off to Camp Cargill🥹
I've made so many wonderful memories at this camp. I'm so excited for her to have this experience just like me! A little teary eyed at the fact that she's even old enough to go now🤧

Prayers for her and the other students to have a fun and safe week are appreciated!! 🫶🏻 by @elenaxgracee

A little while ago, I shared the lyrics of this song. Finally got a recording to share! I love this song because it just talks about my journey with Jesus! Life didn't go exactly according to my plan, but I've learned that lots of the time, our plan is not God's plan. This is why we are to be led by the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and know He's in full control!

Anyways, this is The New Adventure, hope you enjoy! (Thank you @ethan_mcdonald_9.22.04 for accompanying me with another acoustic!)

🎶Had a map written out

Didn't quite work out

The way that I wanted it to

Hit a dead end road

That I didn't plan for

Guess my plans do not always go through

That's alright, 'cause I find sometimes in life

The things I want, and the good Lord's will

Do not align

I was born to face all

The twists and turns the journey holds

And when the road is rough ahead

Come what may, I will be led

By the Way, the Truth, the Light

The Holy Ghost that lives inside

And I know, He's in control

So I'm ready for the adventure

The new adventure

When I get lost en route

I'll never doubt

God will put me on the road I belong to

When there's a flood on the trail

He'll never fail

To take my hand and walk me right through it

(Pre-chorus)

I will not be afraid, or be dismayed

For I lean on the Lord, every step of the way

I was born to face all

The twists and turns the journey holds

And when the road is rough ahead

Come what may, I will be led

By the Way, the Truth, the Light

The Holy Ghost that lives inside

And I know, He's in control

So I'm ready for the adventure

The new adventure

When I encounter the valley

I'll be courageous and I will not fear

I'll run through it to the end, as fast as I can

And I won't turn back

No turning back

I was born to face all

The twists and turns the journey holds

And when the road is rough ahead

Come what may, I will be led

By the Way, the Truth, the Light

The Holy Ghost that lives inside

And I know, He's in control

So I'm ready for the adventure

The great endeavour

The new adventure🎶 by @elenaxgracee

I finally get to share these now that I have socials back! My sweet friend did a shoot for my sisters and I a few months back and did SUCH a good job. I'm so thankful for these two. They're the best sisters I could ever ask God for. Also, since when did they grow up so much??😭

Thank you again @matts_adv3ntures for the lovely pictures 🫶🏻 by @elenaxgracee
