San Gimignano is a walled medieval hill town in Tuscany, famous for its iconic skyline of 14 surviving ancient tower houses. An evening at sea has a way of making time stand still. As the sun melts into the horizon, painting the sky in shades of gold, pink, and deep sapphire, every moment feels effortlessly magical. The gentle ocean breeze, the endless views, and the soft glow of lights reflecting across the water create the perfect atmosphere of pure elegance and serenity. I also loved seeing all the guests embrace dressing up for the masquerade and black & white gala nights. Sipping signature cocktails on deck, surrounded by luxury and the soothing sound of the waves, reminded me that some of life’s most beautiful moments are the ones spent slowing down and taking it all in. Years ago I used to work next to Riding House Cafe in Fitzrovia, but haven’t been back since. Always happy to be back to this gorgeous room at @hotelcaferoyal this time to try the Wimbledon-themed Afternoon Tea. The Matcha Court cake takes inspiration from Britain’s signature grass courts - the cake layers Matcha Mousse, Yuzu Curd and Matcha Sponge.
