That one lonely image in your portfolio might have a whole world around it. You just haven’t built it yet.

For After Hours, the idea was to take one lost image and build a complete editorial world around it. And the process took less than the time I spend scrolling in a day.

Lara Red (@eleredart) moves seamlessly between physical and digital, using makeup as a sculptural tool — a first layer of fiction over reality. Her portraits are later reworked through AI-based retouching, mainly with ComfyUI, building beauty pixel by pixel with precision and intent. The result is sharp, stylized, almost surreal imagery, always grounded in a profound understanding of the human face.
