@elesse.v didn’t originally see herself behind the camera. Born and raised on Long Island and of Dominican and Guatemalan heritage, Elesse first started experimenting with makeup at 16. When her mother gifted her a camera so she could photograph her own beauty looks, that curiosity quickly turned into a creative path she never expected. Now a photographer and Cosmetic Marketing student at @fitnyc, her work sits at the intersection of beauty, fashion, and editorial storytelling. Known for strong contrast, cinematic lighting, and meticulous retouching, Elesse has already photographed for Asian New York Fashion Week and worked with brands including Lancôme. But for her, the camera is only the beginning. Long term, she plans to merge photography, branding, and cosmetics to launch her own beauty and skincare brand.
