Shelagh Robinson teaches college classes on the psychology of vision. Who’d’ve thunk such a niche zone of genius could come in this handy? Today she moonlights at @eleusismind, where she’s interviewed 90+ people about what they saw tripping on DMT for an hour straight.

We asked Shelagh how DMTx works, what people experience after breaking through the “waiting room,” and whether other psychedelics could be dialed with the same level of control.

The full interview drops in our newsletter tomorrow. 🫠 by @eleusismind

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Jack Allocca to the Eleusis Advisory Team. 🧠✨

Jack is a neuroscientist, neuropharmacologist, and AI researcher with a distinctive focus on how brain activity, physiology, and pharmacology interact during altered states of consciousness. His work combines EEG and physiological data with computational approaches to better understand these complex states.

He was also one of the first 11 participants to receive DMTx at Imperial College London, where he sustained five full doses as part of the pioneering study of extended-state DMT.

That combination of deep scientific expertise and firsthand DMTx experience brings a rare perspective to our work, and we’re thrilled to have Jack advising Eleusis as we advance the rigorous study of extended-state psychedelic experiences.

Welcome to Eleusis, Jack. ✨ by @eleusismind

What if a 10-minute other worldly journey could become two hour exploration of consciousness?

That’s the idea behind @eleusismind, a legally sanctioned, medically supervised immersion center in the Caribbean islands.

The experience is built around extended-state sessions, but Eleusis is about much more than the session itself.

Guests move through preparation, physician-led care, integration, and personalized support designed to help them make sense of what comes up afterward.

People may arrive looking for healing, clarity, creativity, purpose, or simply a chance to explore consciousness in a way that normally isn’t possible.

There’s also a real research side to what Eleusis is doing, with the goal of learning more about consciousness and what these longer states may reveal.

That combination of science, medical support, and deep personal exploration is what makes Eleusis so interesting.

It’s not just about extending the experience. It’s about creating the structure around it to explore what those extra hours might actually mean.

🗣️ If you’re curious about where Eleusis is taking this next, follow them and use the link in our bio to learn more about the work, the research, and everything happening in the Caribbean islands.

He’d beaten opiate addiction with DMT. But alcohol and cocaine kept pulling him back.

So he did what Terence McKenna always talked about. 6 grams of penis envy mushrooms. Pitch black room. Alone.

He left his body. Travelled to the centre of the universe. And became one with everything existence, consciousness, God, the collective. No separation. No self. Just everything and nothing all at the exact same time.

And when he came back the addiction was gone.

This is one of the most extraordinary conversations we’ve had on Triangle Theory.

We can’t thank @charlesnpatti enough for your time on the show. Your story and challenges are awe inspiring
and we can’t thank you enough for the mission @eleusismind is on to change how we live our life in a world where having a collective responsibility to love ourselves is needed more than ever

Happy Birthday to Dr. Christopher Timmermann! 🎂✨

Today we’re celebrating an extraordinary member of the Eleusis team and a pioneering voice in the scientific exploration of consciousness.

Christopher’s groundbreaking research into DMT, the brain, and altered states of consciousness has helped bring scientific rigor to some of humanity’s oldest and most profound questions about the mind and the nature of our experience.

As a Research Advisor at Eleusis, Christopher brings that same curiosity, vision, and commitment to advancing safe, ethical, and transformative psychedelic science. His perspective helps guide our thinking as we explore what intentional wellbeing and human potential can become.

We’re incredibly grateful to have his wisdom and insight as part of Eleusis.

Happy Birthday, Christopher. Here’s to another trip around the ☀️— and another year of exploring the mysteries that lie within. ✨ by @eleusismind

They went in searching for extraterrestrials. 👽

Machine elves.
Another dimension.
Another world.

But the experience didn’t take them away from Earth.

It brought them closer to it.

Suddenly, this planet 🌍 its flowers, oceans, animals, forests and impossible abundance—appeared more extraordinary than anything they had hoped to find beyond it.

“We have one of the most spectacular, beautiful planets… plants and flowers and water and creatures of the sea, land and air… It’s a tapestry.” 🌸

They went searching for another world.

They returned in awe of this one.

What if the greatest revelation isn’t what exists beyond our world—but finally seeing the wonder of the one we already inhabit?

They entered what they could only describe as a cantina.

“Star Wars cantina, but just so much weirder, so much stranger, so much more full of life…”

The room stretched before them, filled wall-to-wall with beings of every imaginable form—tall ones, spindly ones and others hanging effortlessly from the walls.

But the strangest part wasn’t how they looked.

Every being in the room appeared to be waiting for one person to arrive.

Them.

They felt like a child being introduced to relatives they had never met, yet somehow already knew.

There was recognition without explanation.
Familiarity without memory.

But the encounter became too overwhelming. They couldn’t stay.

The beings didn’t stop them.
They didn’t reject them.

They simply understood.

And as they pulled away, they were left with one final message:

“We’ll see you again. Don’t worry. We understand.”

They entered a room filled with strangers.

They left feeling as though they had been remembered.
