Kainos is excited to welcome Coach Kendal to our coaching staff for the upcoming season! Coach Kendal brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to our program. A former Algonquin College player, where he competed for two years at the collegiate level, Kendal has continued to make an impact in Ottawa basketball through coaching and player development. Over the past two years, he has been a coach at Garneau High School, helping guide and develop student-athletes both on and off the court. He has also spent several years coaching with GCBA, where he has built a reputation for his passion, leadership, and commitment to player growth. In addition to his coaching experience, Coach Kendal works as a basketball trainer at Capital Courts, helping athletes of all ages elevate their skills and confidence through high-level instruction and mentorship. Coach Kendal’s dedication to the game and to developing young athletes makes him a tremendous addition to the Kainos family, and we’re excited to have him join us as we continue building something special. We want to officially welcome Coach Kendal to the CC team! Kendal is a life-long hooper that’s been around the game all his life! . Kendal was a member of the Algonquin men’s team and has made the transition to the sidelines with the GCBA Wolverines and EVO. He spends his days on the court as a skills trainer with the new Sport études Garneau program. . He’s spent the past 4 years honing his training skills and is now ready to level up! Coach Kendal has just soft-launched is personal training service @elevate.bst where he hopes to impact players on and off the court. . We love bringing on trainers that aspire to build their own brand. The more elite trainers we have in the city doing it for the right reasons, the more we ELEVATE⬆️ the city! .
