Petit Petre — From a Slow Start to Epic Finish 🎣🔥

What started as a frustrating session quickly turned into one to remember for The Bait Escapes Ashley Wasilewski.

After drawing a prime-looking island swim, the extreme heatwave and dropping lake levels soon made Ash question his choice. Two nights without a sign of fish and it was time to make the move into deeper water.

After plenty of searching, persistence and a carefully prepared mix of Elevate Baits Maple & Mulberry, Spicy Chorizo and Garlic Infusion, things finally clicked.

The first bite produced a stunning 47lb mirror, followed by a cracking mid-30 common and two more fish over the next couple of nights.

Then came the perfect finale… a proper battle ending with a 52lb mirror! 💥🐋

Four fish, some valuable lessons and a reminder that sometimes trusting your decisions and sticking at it really does pay off.

Petit Petre made Ashley work for it, but what a way to finish! 🙌 well done Ash 👏👏

Garlic Infusion Dumbell Hookbaits have already accounted for so many captures of incredible carp.

Created using the same make up of our Garlic Infusion boilies but made to be extremely tough out in the water.

Great to be presented on their own but incredible when topped with a pillow hookbait.

Available now from Elevate Baits stockists.

A quick very wet and very autumnal overnight for Dan resulted in some action with bites coming thick and fast and fish reacting extremely well to the new test bait.

Spot a fish, cast to it, reap the rewards. 🙌 🎯

A recent session on the bank for James Pearl produced this beautiful mirror from the Chilston Stour.

James spotted some fish showing at a distance and knew a solid bag was the perfect tool for the job.

The winning combination was a solid PVA bag using Cream Stim PVA Pellet mix with a Garlic Infusion dumbell wafter and an Injected bag with a heavy dose of Garlic Infusion Oil.

Well done James, great angling 👏
