World class classical coaching.
Masterclasses, Intensives and specialist training opportunities across the UK
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
On Sundays, as always, the quality and effectiveness of teaching is our first priority.

Nicola Tarry’s renound classical ballet classes, Jordan Lee’s demanding BodyWorks sessions and Victoria Hewitt’s rigorous pointe classes are all designed with one aim: maximum progression.

With three class levels, no photography and no observation, students enjoy the privacy and focused environment needed for serious, concentrated work.

The big and beautiful RAD studios are a joy to dance in. For parents, the location is convenient: outside the Congestion Charge zone, with plentiful free Sunday parking, or a shortish walk from Clapham Junction and with a lovely café on site.

Every Sunday can be booked individually, making it easy to fit classes around family commitments, rehearsals and performances.

Whether you’re looking to add greater rigour to an already serious training schedule or experience Elevate for the first time, our Sundays offer an exceptional opportunity to progress.

Join us this weekend or at the end of half term. At the time of posting we have a small number of places in every group available.

The flagship event of the Elevate calendar: Hogmanay in Edinburgh.

Three extraordinary days with a truly exceptional faculty: Tomas Karlborg, Joy Womack, Xander Parish, Anastasia Demidova and Nicola Tarry.

This is a faculty more fantastic than we had dared to imagine. We approached these extraordinary artists individually, each an ambitious invitation in its own right. To our astonishment and delight, every one of them said yes.

Perhaps the lure of Edinburgh at the most magical time of year proved irresistible.

Dedicated dancers will join us from across the UK and beyond, and our faculty will fly in from Europe and America. Together, they will spend three days in beautiful studios in the heart of this spectacular city, in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle.

What could be more wonderful?

There is a particular joy in working with the Junior groups at Elevate.

The progress these young dancers can make is extraordinary. Our Masterclass Days involve six hours of training, a demanding day at this age, yet their stamina, focus and determination routinely surprise even the most experienced teachers.

Our Artistic Director, Nicola Tarry, is particularly known for her work with pre-senior-school dancers, while our international guest teachers, many more accustomed to working with older students, are often struck by the artistry, intelligence and commitment of our Juniors.

For the dancers, it is a rare opportunity to learn from masters of ballet: gaining specialist knowledge and inspiration from artists they can genuinely look up to.

Driven, inquisitive and full of promise, these young dancers are an absolute joy to teach.

The future’s very bright. 🩰✨ by @elevateballettraining

As we approach the end of the first month of our Classical Coaching classes in London, we have been delighted by the feedback from dancers and parents and, most importantly, by the significant balletic progress already made.

Extremely exacting, consistent teaching of small selective groups in professional studios. Training that is carefully monitored by Elevate Artistic Director working closely with our two class teachers. Each dancer’s goals individually understood, with clear objectives for their progress. Our dedicated Elevate team ensures that communication is constant, parents are informed and supported, and our teachers are free to concentrate on their specialisim.

And we are only just beginning.

This is a long term. Our dancers will train right through to 17 December, giving us as much time as possible for meaningful, sustained progress.

Our Classical Coaching Programme is deliberately small, but there are still spaces for dedicated dancers.

If you would like to discuss whether Elevate Ballet School might be the right environment for your young dancer, we would be delighted to hear from you. by @elevateballettraining

BodyWorks

We searched long and hard for someone who could deliver the truly, rigorous and exacting strength and conditioning we wanted for our dancers, with contagious positivity.

We found the fabulous Jordan Lee ✨

Jordan made her Elevate debut at La Rentrée, where she quickly earned the nickname “The Smiling Assassin”. Always inspiring, always encouraging whilst pushing every dancer to achieve more than they knew they could.

Now Jordan is with us on Sundays at the RAD and, streamed directly into homes on weeknights for our online BodyWorks programme. These are online classes resolutely unlike the large-group offerings.

Groups are deliberately small. Jordan watches, corrects and pushes every dancer. She demonstrates with exacting clarity and leaves no one behind.

Working to a programme designed by Artistic Director Nicola Tarry, the focus is on foot and ankle stability, glute strength and core control. The mission is to create stronger, better aligned, more resilient dancers and to accelerate balletic progression.

The BodyWorks reviews are superlative.

We are so excited to be bringing Elevate to Manchester for the first time this October.

We have been delighted by the response to this short course. It’s almost 80% full already, with what looks like a very promising cohort of dancers from Northern England, as well as those travelling from around the UK.
It seems as though Manchester is somewhere we’ll be keen to return to!

These intensive days will round off an exciting half-term week for Elevate. Beginning with our Professional Pas de Deux Experience, followed by two International Intensive Masterclass Days in London.

With just a small number of places remaining, please use the link in our bio to secure yours. 🩰

OCTOBER INTENSIVE MASTERCLASS DAYS ✨

As ever during the English half-term, we offer a genuinely intensive two-day programme across Monday and Tuesday in London: 12 hours of rigorous, high-quality training, taught by exceptional faculty in small classes alongside talented and committed peers.

The concept is simple: to condense what might otherwise be a full week’s training into two focused and purposeful days. This gives dancers the opportunity to train intensively and make significant progress, while still leaving time during the half-term to rest and recover.

This October, we are delighted to welcome the founders and directors of the European School of Ballet, alongside their new London faculty.

Every dancer will have the opportunity to be observed by the ESB team during one class as part of the audition process for their new London Branch. Those who do not wish to be considered are, of course, equally welcome: this remains a wonderful opportunity to train with and be seen by extraordinary teachers and highly respected figures within the ballet world.

We are incredibly excited for these two very special days.

We are delighted to announce Lauren Cuthbertson as the founding Patron of Elevate Ballet School.

Lauren’s extraordinary achievements as a dancer speak for themselves, but we approached her because her values so closely reflect our own. She has a deep and genuine commitment to the development of young dancers and believes passionately in training that combines excellence, ambition and rigour with care, integrity and respect.

At Elevate, we believe that the highest standards and the wellbeing of young people should never come at the expense of one another. Lauren embodies that belief, and we could not be prouder or more honoured to welcome her as our founding Patron.

Our school opened this September, with two wonderful groups of selected students attending after-school classes in South West London. Those dancers can now look forward to seeing Lauren in the studio and benefiting from her invaluable encouragement and support throughout their development.

We couldn’t be happier to have Lauren in this role as Elevate Ballet School grows.

We have something very exciting to announce ✨

Next month, our friends from the European School of Ballet will be joining us for our October Intensive Masterclass Days. Those classes will also form the official London audition for ESB’s exciting new London Branch.

Dancers will have the opportunity to work with ESB Artistic Director Olivier Wecxsteen and to be seen by Founder and Director Jean-Yves Esquerre and his team as they select dancers for this new full-time training programme, launching in London in January 2027.

Join us on 26 and 27 October for two inspiring days of intensive training and the opportunity to audition for an extraordinary new chapter in European School of Ballet training.

SUPER SUNDAYS ARE BACK ✨

Our Sunday Series returns this weekend. HIghly effective lessons which can be booked individually with need to commit to the term; dancers can join us whenever it works alongside their existing training, rehearsals, performances and other commitments.

These are positive, uplifting classes are designed for ambitious dancers who want to get more from their training.

Some join us alongside vocational school, looking for an additional injection of focused, high-level coaching. Others are working towards vocational training and want to raise the level, intensity and effectiveness of what they are already doing.

With Junior, Intermediate and Senior classes, Pointe Work and BodyWorks, Sundays combine excellent teaching, focused technical work and specific strength training all designed to make a tangible difference to a dances progression.

The atmosphere is deliberately positive and uplifting, while the training is rigorous and purposeful. Dancers leave having worked hard, feeling stronger and clearer in their work, and ready to take that into the week ahead.

Supercharge your week. Start the next one stronger.

A small number of spaces remain across some levels.
