After months of planning, learning, and dreaming, I am so excited to officially introduce Elevated Journeys.

Travel has always meant more to me than simply visiting a destination.

It is about slowing down.
Being present.
Celebrating life's milestones.
Creating memories that stay with you long after you return home.

Many of the places you will see me share are destinations Matt and I have personally explored together. Those experiences have shaped not only my love of travel, but the philosophy behind Elevated Journeys.

On a recent personal trip to San Francisco, I stayed at the @fairmontsanfrancisco on Nob Hill and had the opportunity to tour the property.

What I came away with was a much clearer understanding of how different the experience can be depending on where you stay within the hotel.

Same property. Two very different ways to experience San Francisco.

The historic Main Building has a character that feels distinctly its own.

During my tour, I learned that the accommodations here are much more individual in nature.

The architecture, room layouts, and details can vary, which is exactly why understanding the traveler matters before simply choosing a room category.

For someone drawn to history and character, this side of the Fairmont has a very particular
appeal.

One of the details I especially loved was the view over the Fairmont’s rooftop garden.
The fountain, palms, surrounding architecture, and San Francisco skyline create an entirely different feeling from the sweeping Bay views of the Tower.

Neither experience needs to compete with the other. They simply offer something different.

The Tower is a very different experience.

We stayed in a Tower Signature Golden Gate Bay View room, and the view became one of the most memorable parts of our stay.

From high above the city, San Francisco opens up in front of you — skyline, Bay, and landmarks stretching across the horizon.

And then there was this.

This was the view from our room.

It is one thing to read “Golden Gate Bay View” on a room description. It is another thing entirely to stand at the window and see it for yourself.

That firsthand distinction is exactly the kind of information I want to bring home when I am helping someone decide what will matter most to them. by @elevatedjourneysluxe

Behind Elevated Journeys

When someone tells me they want to go to Italy, I’m excited for them. But that still isn’t
where I start.

I want to know what made you choose Italy in the first place.

That answer usually tells me much more about the journey than the destination name ever could.

A destination gives me the map.

It doesn’t tell me what will make the journey feel right for you.

That comes from listening to what matters most, what you are hoping for, and what you
want this trip to be.

Two travelers can choose the very same destination and need something completely
different from it.

A 25th anniversary carries a different kind of meaning than a mother-daughter trip.

Same country. Different people. Different reasons. Different journey.

This is really the heart of it for me.

The destination matters, of course.

But the part I care most about understanding is you — what matters to you, who you are
sharing the journey with, and what you hope this experience gives you.

Before I start thinking about hotels, routes, reservations, or experiences, I want to
understand the person I am planning for.

The Elevated Moment

I knew there was a view ahead.

I still was not prepared for this.

That is one of the things I love about travel. You can see the photographs, know where you are going, and think you know what to expect.

And then you are standing there yourself.

No photograph quite prepares you for that feeling.

Behind Elevated Journeys

There is always more happening behind the scenes than what you see once everything is ready.

For The Elevated Evening | Italy, I wanted the details to feel personal from the very beginning — from preparing the materials and setting the room to the custom North Star gingerbread cookies I had made especially for the evening.

I love this part of creating an experience: thinking about what people will see, what they will notice, and how it will all feel when they walk through the door.

Last night, all of those little pieces finally came together.

I almost did not get up. It would have been easy to stay seated and simply watch.

Funny how some of the memories we are happiest to have are the ones that almost never happened.

Sometimes we just need a little convincing.

One of my favorite things to hear from a client is that they were able to simply enjoy their journey because the details were taken care of.

I could not be more thrilled with how these turned out. ✨

I had a very specific vision for a special detail I wanted to create for an upcoming Elevated Journeys event, and Arianna at @ariascake.s brought it to life beautifully.

From creating a custom North Star cutter to the biscuits themselves, the branded packaging, ribbon and every little finishing detail — the care she put into this project was extraordinary.

And somehow, she managed to create all of this in the UK and get it safely to me in Denver!

Arianna, thank you for taking my idea and making it even more special than I imagined. Your talent is incredible, and working with you has been such a pleasure.

In 2027, Ireland will step onto the world stage as the Ryder Cup celebrates its 100th anniversary. It is a remarkable moment for golf — and an invitation to discover everything else Ireland has to offer.

Begin in Dublin, where centuries of history and literary tradition live alongside great food, music and a city that still knows how to surprise you.

The setting for the Ryder Cup’s centennial is extraordinary in its own right. Championship golf is part of the experience at Adare Manor — but so are the estate, the dining, the spa and the unmistakable sense of occasion.

Stone bridges, mountain passes and lakes define this part of Ireland. The Gap of Dunloe is the kind of place where the landscape becomes the experience.

The Cliffs of Moher may be the headline, but County Clare deserves the deeper look — the Burren, traditional music, coastal villages and the wild Atlantic stretching beyond them.
