ElevateHER: Behind the Curtain - A Dinner Experience Recap

There’s something powerful about a room where nothing is performative.

Last week’s Behind the Curtain dinner was exactly that. A table of women who chose honesty over polish, connection over small talk, and depth over surface.

We gathered for an evening that wasn’t about perfectly curated lives or highlight reels. It was about what’s really happening behind the scenes. The pivots. The pressure. The quiet wins no one sees. The moments that shape us long before anyone applauds them.

From the first glass of champagne and “hello’s” to the final conversations lingering at the table, the energy stayed intentional. Every seat was filled with someone willing to share, to listen, and to show up fully.

No one got lost in the room, every voice mattered, and the connection felt real.

WOW. We are completely blown away by the movement in the room last night. These women showed up in their vulnerable open heart and we are so thankful to walk away with a different perception.

We can all agree that night, we matured 10 years, realizing the immense benefits of being in this room.

Our speakers over delivered. Shifted our mindset. Grew our way of thinking and we ALL felt it. From the corporate business women, to the stay at home mom, to the single mom figuring it out. The over achieving concept isn’t just for one category. This applies to so many and the hurt and worry is the same. Stop talking yourself out of these rooms. This is important. Tracy Packiam Alloway, PhD, is an award-winning psychologist, professor, author, and TEDx speaker. She has published 15 books and over 100 scientific articles on the brain and memory. Her recent book, Think Like a Girl, outlines the different myths that women believe or even tell themselves and pulls back the curtain on how the brain works when it comes to decision making, happiness, love, and leadership. Her research has also been featured on BBC, Good Morning America, the Today Show, Forbes, Bloomberg, The Washington Post, Newsweek, and many others. She was also featured as an expert in the documentary The Observed Life.
